Costa Mesa’s Super Whatevr have released a new single and corresponding video, “Bloomfield.” About a failed relationship, vocalist Skyler McKee says “the lyrics are about arguing back and forth with your better judgment and the turmoil that comes out of that state of being. ‘We’ve got a lot in common, nothing in common at all, but if you like being alone then come and find me’ is rationalizing the obvious fact that the relationship was a train wreck but loneliness sometimes feels heavier than dissonance.”
