The Interrupters discuss working with Tim Armstrong, how the band started

The Interrupters now have a full-length album out, and a couple of the band members recently talked about the album, and a lot of other stuff, with the Jackknife podcast. Listen to the whole interview below.

Aimee and Kevin talk in depth about various topics, including working closely with Rancid‘s Tim Armstrong, the influence of Bob Marley, how they became a band, and the important role family plays in their music.

The Interrupters self-titled debut album is out today (August 5th) on Hellcat Records (and in this editor’s opinion, it’s simply fantastic).

They’re headed out on tour this fall with Less Than Jake and Big D & The Kids Table. Check out the dates/locations here.
