Tim Timebomb streams “Brown Eyed Girl” and “Guitar Polka”

Tim Timebomb and Friends are streaming covers of Van Morrison’s “Brown Eyed Girl” and Rosalie Allen’s “Guitar Polka”. Here’s what Armstrong had to say about the two songs:

“Van Morrison’s wails and whispers combined with a firey and gritty sound- influenced by American blues singers, delivered this one back in 1967 on his album called Blowin’ Your Mind!.. Here’s our version of it.. with all due respect to one of Belfast’s most revered.”

“All songwriters have interesting stories, and Rosalie Allen’s no different. In the mid 40s She opened her own music store called “Rosalie Allen’s Hillbilly Music Center” on West 54th Street in NYC. It was one of the first shops in the United States to only sell country music.”

You can stream the tracks right here.

Tim Timebomb and Friends have been releasing a long series of singles on iTunes every week since the beginning of December 2012 through Hellcat Records. Both of these tracks will be available on March 26.
