Tim Timebomb streams cover of “Everybody’s Singin’ and Truckin'”

The latest Tim Timebomb and Friends installment is a cover of The Modern Mountineers’ “Everybody’s Singin’ and Truckin'”. You can stream it here. This is what Tim had to say about the song:

“Apparently this tune was banned from a lot of jukeboxes. Smokey Joe Wood – an Arizona born/ Oklahoma raised vocalist, performed the most well known version with the Modern Mountaineers. The song was originally recorded by them in San Antonio Texas on March 1, 1937 for Bluebird Records.”

Tim Timebomb is the latest side project from Rancid’s Tim Armstrong, who has been releasing a long series of singles on iTunes every week since the beginning of December 2012 through Hellcat Records. Tim is currently on tour with Rancid.
