Yellowcard and Alex Gaskarth (All Time Low) pay tribute to Tony Sly at Warped Tour

While not the most likely candidates to have a fanbase familiar with No Use for a Name, modern pop punkers Yellowcard took the time out of their Warped Tour set yesterday to pay tribute to the late Tony Sly. Joined by All Time Low frontman Alex Gaskarth, the band played through a fairly straightforward rendition of No Use for a Name’s “Chasing Rainbows”. The song originally appeared on NUFAN’s 1999 album “More Betterness!” on Fat Wreck Chords.

You can watch the live performance here.

Yellowcard is gearing up to release their new album, “Southern Air” on August 14 through Hopeless Records, while All Time Low released “Dirty Work” in June 2011 via Interscope Records.
