Germany’s Stomper 98 celebrate their 25th Anniversary with a new self-titled LP, due out September 1st, 2023. Featuring Rancid’s Lars Frederiksen on guitar, the band’s seventh studio album Stomper 98 delivers a mix of hardcore, street punk, reggae, and Oi!. The four-piece punk band draws heavy inspiration from the Epitaph and Fat Wreck bands of the 90s and early 2000s, while also embracing the rhythms of traditional ska and reggae. Channeling the spirit of Bad Brains, they blend these genres into a unique sound.
The Kilograms are a brand-new ska project featuring Sammy Kay and Joe Gittleman and yes, they’re as great as that sounds.

And okay, yes, we know the term “supergroup” gets thrown around a bit willy-nilly sometimes, but trust us that it works on myriad levels here. That’s because The Kilograms features the one-and-only Joe Gittleman (the bass fiddleman) and Sammy Kay joined by former Bouncing Soul and current Blackheart (as in Joan Jett And The…) Michael McDermott on drums and Midwest Bonsai’s J Duckworth not only on guitar but in the producer’s chair as well.
