It’s hard to believe that at this time last week, Punk Rock Bowling was over, and I was getting ready to board a plane back home. It seems every year the festivities go by quicker and quicker (or maybe my drunken blurs have become longer), and so, to delay the ‘end’ (and to help me remember!), over the next several days/weeks, we will be sharing with you a collection of photos taken from the festival and club shows, as well as some of its most outlandish attendees.
Although bowling and the PRB music festival didn’t officially begin until Saturday, Friday featured a slew of shows around downtown LV, including Left Alone, Guttermouth, Strung Out, Lawrence Arms, Chris Murray, Suedehead, and Nothington, just to name a few.
It always seems like these after-hours shows are so stressful, as you have to decide how you want to split your time. With other Dying Scene members at the Guttermouth/Left Alone show, I began my night with a little ska and headed to The Beauty Bar to see Chris Murray, before jetting to the Country Saloon to catch the Lawrence Arms.
You can check out shots from Chris Murray’s and Lawrence Arms’ sets right here, and be sure to keep checking back on Dying Scene for photo galleries from the rest of the weekend’s events.
