Restoration Fest Philly raising money for Hurricane Sandy recovery

Philly pop-punk act The Hellstroms are behind RestorationFest Philly, an eight-band show aiming to raise money for Hurricane Sandy recovery efforts.

Nearly a year after the disaster, the event will raise money for the Red Cross. Bands involved in the show are from New York, Pennsylvania, and Delaware — all states that were affected by the storm.

The event will take place Saturday, August 24 at Kung Fu Necktie in Philadelphia. The Headies (DE), The Young Rochelles (NYC), The Jantones (PA), Keep for Yourself (DE), The Hellstroms (PA), Wooden Wells (NYC), Honah Lee (NJ), and Nobody Yet (PA) will all play, and it will be $7 to get in.
