The Affect Heuristic and Wolfrik Announce Spring European Tour Dates

Megabus-frequenting technical hardcore act, The Affect Heuristic, and Canadian thrashers Wolfrik have announced a European tour. The two bands will perform 16 shows across a total of six countries in April and May. On the way they’ll be stopping off at Manchester Punk Festival and SBAM in Austria.

You can check out the full list of cities on a larger version of the tour poster below. For now, only some of the specific venues are available at either band’s Facebook page. No doubt these will be updated soon.

The Affect Heuristic’s previous release was the 2018 split with German skate punkers Money Left to Burn titled Vs. Wolfrik’s was the E.P. Skeleton City, which came out the previous year.



Bash Brothers (melodic) streaming new song “Guiltless” off upcoming record

Swedish melodic-punks Bash Brothers are streaming the track “Guiltless” off of their upcoming album Downhearted. The album is set to be released February 8th through Thousand Islands Records. The song features some amazing guitar work as well as a steady diet of in your face vocals.

This is the first new release for the Swedish melodic unit since 2017’s Life Lessons. If you’re a fan of 88 Fingers Louie you will enjoy the musical prowess of these Swedish meatballs.



Such Gold and Koji head to the UK for tour

Such Gold will be heading to the UK next week with Indie singer-songwriter Koji (who will be accompanied by a full band). Support comes from the UK’s own Ducking Punches who had a big year last year, playing their 1000th show and releasing the full length ‘Alamort’. Dates can be found below.

Such Gold’s last release was the EP ‘Deep in a Hole’ that came out September 2017 on Bird Attack Records. Koji is gearing up to release new material later this year via No Sleep Records.



Get It Together (Melodic-hardcore) streaming new track “Metamorphosis”

Scottish melodic-hardcore act Get It Together are streaming their latest song “Metamorphosis”. The song comes from their upcoming LP Live Free, which will be released April 1st.

Misgivings (gruff punk) share video for ‘The New Lows’

Misgivings, from Portsmouth, UK, have released another video from their upcoming debut album, Hermitage, due out on Lockjaw Records December 7th.  

The gruff punks sound should appeal to fans of Iron Chic, Banner Pilot or their label mates The Burnt Tapes.

Wolfrik sign to Lockjaw Records

Lockjaw Records have announced that they’ll be adding melodic thrash punk act Wolfrik to the family! These guys boast a super technical, and impossible to ignore sound that offers a bit more of a palatable take on thrash for those of you that are into more melody-oriented genres. Lockjaw definitely picked up some fresh talent, and we can’t wait to see what comes from them!

These guys are now streaming their debut EP “Skeleton City,” which you can listen to here.

Portsmouth, UK gruff punks Misgivings  have released a new single. “Call If Off” is the first track from their upcoming debut album, Hermitage, their first release on their new home Lockjaw Records.

30 Miles (Skate Punk, Italy) stream “Short Tales For Braves”

Italian skate punks 30 Miles have released a seven song album, “Short Tales For Braves”, via Disconnect Disconnect Records. The release came out last Friday (September 27th) and includes recent video “The Forest“.

Their brand new EP “Postcard” just hit my inbox and it’s the first new release in weeks I’ve felt compelled to listen to front to back.
