Chicago’s hardcore act Drowning is now streaming their new album “23.”

The beatdown take on hardcore brings ultra groovy and hip hop influences to the table and pushes the boundaries of all their previous releases. The album officially releases today on Fast Break! Records, and is available to buy here.

Wisdom In Chains stream new track “Duck Down Stay Down” ahead of album

Pennsylvania hardcore quintet Wisdom In Chains recently announced new album “Nothing In Nature Respects Weakness”, the band’s seventh full length, which will be released on July 20th via Fast Break! Records. Ahead of the album, the band are streaming “Duck Down Stay Down” over on Stereokiller now.

Wisdom In Chains announce new album “Nothing In Nature Respects Weakness”

Pennsylvania hardcore outfit Wisdom In Chains have announced the release of a new album. The album will be titled Nothing In Nature Respects Weakness and will be released July 20 via Fast Break! Records.

The album was recorded at Mountain Side Studio in Tobyhanna, PA by Rich Rescigno and features 13 “hard-hitting hardcore anthems” with topics ranging from substance abuse and depression to the dangers of technology.

Nothing In Nature is the follow-up to 2015’s The God Rhythm.

Lionheart release video for “Still Bitter Still Cold”

Following last month’s return with new track “Trial By Fire” , California hardcore veterans Lionheart have released another video ahead of their “Welcome To The West Coast II” album. “Still Bitter Still Cold” is also from the record, out in November on Fast Break Records. Vinyl pre-orders are up now.

Madball and Wisdom In Chains to release split 7″

Fast Break Records has announced a split 7” between Madball and Wisdom In Chains. “The Family Biz 7” ” is to be released on Sept 25th, with the split will feature one new song from each group. Pre-orders are up now.

“For The Cause” is Madball‘s effort. Speaking on the track, front-man Freddy Cricien said “it’s about staying the course and fighting for what you love and are passionate about. It’s a theme that you’ll hear a lot throughout our next album. Utilizing negativity and the obstacles you face as inspiration. ‘Say I can’t, say I won’t again.. Give me the fuel that I need to ascend!”.

“Someday” is Wisdom In Chains’ contribution to the split. Vocalist Mad Joe Black says that the track is “about not living in the past and not fixating on the future. Look at what you have in your life and appreciate the good things and work hard to improve what needs improving. It kind of represents that hardcore work ethic that bands like Madball are known for.” Speaking on the bond between both bands Black added “Madball means the world to us. They have helped WIC out countless times. This is a very special release for us and I can’t wait for people to hear BOTH songs! Hardcore lives!”

The song comes off the bands August 11th release “Unfinished Business”. The album was released through BDHW Records, and represents the 4th release from the band.

“No Dawn” is due out May 6th and was recorded at The Wild Arctic with Dean Baltulonis who, if you didn’t know, was responsible for No Warning’s “Ill Blood”. The band will be touring in support of the record this summer so keep your eyes peeled for tour dates to be announced later this month.
