Weezer have premiered a brand new single  entitled “Do You Wanna Get High” and you can check it out below.

No word yet if this is a sign of more to come in terms of an album, however this is the second single from the band is as many weeks. Perhaps the band has a secret they’re keeping under wraps?

Weezer’s last album, “Everything Will Be Alright in the End”, was released in October 2014 through Republic Records.

Weezer (performing “Pinkerton” and “The Blue Album”), Cancer Bats, System of A Down and more added to Riot Fest lineups

A handful of big-time acts have been added to the lineups at the three Riot Fest locations for later this summer…because you needed MORE of a reason to go.

Now appearing at the Denver Riot Fest (Aug 28-30) will be System Of A Down, The Prodigy (who are still a band because 1990s big beat music will somehow never die…) and Death Grips. Added to the lineup at the Chicago installment of Riot Fest (September 11-13) will be System Of A Down and The Prodigy, and now appearing in Toronto (September 19-20) will be Cancer Bats, The Prodigy, Bleachers, and Weezer, who’ll be performing “The Blue Album” and “Pinkerton” in their entirety.

 



Weezer stream previously unreleased song “Everybody Needs Salvation”

Weezer are streaming a previously-unreleased song called “Everybody Needs Salvation”, which is the title track from a 7″ single made just for club members and was reportedly recorded during the sessions of their latest album Everything Will Be Alright in the End. You can listen to the song below.

Everything Will Be Alright in the End was released last October through Republic Records, and was Weezer’s first studio album since Hurley, which was released in 2010 through Epitaph Records.



Rise Against, Weezer, Fall Out Boy and more bands announced for 25th annual KROQ Almost Acoustic Christmas

The lineup has been announced for the 25th installment of the Almost Acoustic Christmas, hosted by the legendary Southern California modern rock radio station KROQ. Among the featured acts are Rise Against, Weezer, Fall Out Boy, Linkin Park, Incubus, System of a Down, The Smashing Pumpkins, Tears for Fears, U2 and many more. The 2014 edition of the KROQ Almost Acoustic Christmas takes place December 13-14 at the Forum in Inglewood, California. Tickets for both nights go on sale Friday, November 14th at 12pm PT via Ticketmaster.com only. More details are available on KROQ’s official website.

The folks at Montebello’s Amnesia Rockfest have recently uploaded to YouTube a pretty cool recap video of this year edition. It feature live footage from bands such as NOFX, Lagwagon, Weezer, Blink-182 and a bunch more. You can check it out below. The Amnesia Rockfest will be back in Montebello, Quebec, in June 2015. It will be the festival’s 10th year anniversary.
