Music Video: Into It. Over It. – “The Shaking Of Leaves”

Into It. Over It. has premiered the music video for “The Shaking Of Leaves” and you can check it out below.

The video features Storyboards by Dana Terrance. “John and I had been going back and forth perfecting this video for quite some time,” explained Evan Weiss. “The most difficult part was coming up with something for the bridge section of the song – conveying the lyrics (about a very serious and sensitive topic) while still giving the story an optimistic outcome. This song was written for my fallen friend Mitch Dubey. The video was designed and written with him in mind. I think he would have loved it.”

The song appears on In Into It. Over It.’s latest album “Intersections,” which was released on September 24th, 2013 through Triple Crown Records.



No Sleep Records streaming “A Comp for Mom”

No Sleep Records have released A Comp for Mom, which is a tribute to label head Chris Hansen’s mother, who passed away in April.

The guys in Connecticut emo act Sorority Noise are streaming a new song entitled “Blonde Hair, Black Lungs.” Give it a listen or download it for free right here.

“Blonde Hair, Black Lungs appears on the band’s debut full-length Forgettable, which was released yesterday (May 13th) via Evan Weiss (Into It. Over It.) and his Storm Chasers label in conjunction with Broken World Media and Dog Knights Productions.

No Sleep Records to release tribute “A Comp For Mom” (The Wonder Years, Into It. Over It, The Swellers, Allison Weiss)

In memory of Linda Hansen, mother of Huntington Beach label No Sleep Record‘s founder Chris Hansen, the independent company will be releasing a compilation of covers and originals entitled “A Comp For Mom.” Hansen recently passed away in April.

Into It. Over It., The Wonder Years, The Swellers, and Allison Weiss are featured on the compilation which is set to be released August 5th. All proceeds go to the family to cover outstanding medical bills. Additional donations can be made at the No Sleep store



Into It. Over It. adds dates to US tour

Evan Weiss and the rest of the guys in Into It. Over It. have added some more dates to their already extensive 2014 US tour, which will be making its way through the states for the next 5 months.

Illinois post-hardcore vets Braid have announced a handful of summer tour dates. Included are a date with Into It. Over It. in Pittsburgh and Ohio/Missouri dates with Pity Sex and Signals Midwest. Check out the brief rundown below.

Into It. Over It. announces The World Is a Beautiful Place… and A Great Big Pile of Leaves as opening acts for headlining tour

About a month ago, Chicago’s Into It. Over It. announced a headlining tour this winter, but hadn’t mentioned who would be touring alongside the band as opeers. It’s been revealed that The World Is a Beautiful Place & I Am No Longer Afraid to Die and A Great Big Pile of Leaves will be the supporting acts.
