Cerebral Ballzy stream “Another Day” from “City Girl”

Brooklyn punks Cerebral Ballzy are streaming a new song called “Another Day” which will be featured on the b-side of their seven-inch record “City Girl”. The seven-inch is being released through Federal Prism Records, and it will be the bands first studio release since their 2011 self titled album.

Yo, I am Lightning, the newbie here at the Dying Scene. For me, 2011 sorta fell short when it came to all out classic albums. That’s not so say there weren’t some good ones, but with the exception of my number 1 and 2 picks I just didn’t find any of them as great from top to bottom as say “Seedy” or “And Out Come the Wolves.”  Call me an old schooler if you will, I just expect more from bands these days.

Brooklyn punks Cerebral Ballzy have a new video out as part of Adult Swim’s singles program. It’s for their song “On the Run,” and it looks like an 80s-style skateboarding video. Complete with an empty pool. Check it out here.

Hardcore punk maniacs Cerebral Ballzy are streaming their entire upcoming self-titled album and you can give it a listen here.

The album consists of 12 straight-to-the-point, hard-hitting hardcore songs and the sound resembles that of early 80’s hardcore so if you’re into Black Flag or Circle Jerks you’re going to love Cerebral Ballzy.

The bands self-titled record is slated to release next week.

Brooklyn gritty punk act Cerebral Ballzy have released a music video for their track “Drug Myself Dumb” and you can check it out here.

The track will appear on the band’s upcoming album which will be released later this summer.
