Kepi Ghoulie to release children’s album “Kepi For Kids” on Asian Man Records sublabel Fun Fun Records

Asian Man Records/Fun Fun Records has revealed that solo pop punk dude and former Groovie Ghoulies frontman Kepi Ghoulie will be releasing a children’s album entitled “Kepi For Kids” in September. All you punk rock moms and dads can listen to the first song “Days That End In Y” over here.

Fun Fun Records is the kid-friendly appendage to Asian Man and aims to “keep the DIY PUNK ethics intact while providing quality and educational music for our kids.” The label also previously released “Smile,” the children’s album by Asian Man founder Mike Park.

Kepi last released his solo album “I Bleed Rock ‘n Roll” in November 2011.



New Music Video: Kepi Ghoulie – “I Bleed Rock and Roll”

Long-time pop punker, Kepi Ghoulie, has just released a music video for his song “I Bleed Rock and Roll.

The single comes from Ghoulie’s most recent album, also titled I Bleed Rock and Roll, which came out on Asian Man Records late last year.



Tour: Kevin Seconds/Kepi Ghoulie/Franz Nicolay team up for Arms Aloft Social & Musical Roadshow

Inspired by his 2008 tour with the likes of Mike Park, Joey Cape, Jon Snodgrass and others a few years back, Kevin Seconds has announced dates and locations for what is being called the Arms Aloft Social & Musical Roadshow.

The three-week jaunt covers most of the continental US, and features the likes of Kepi Ghoulie, Franz Nicolay (World/Inferno Friendship Society, The Hold Steady), Vic Ruggiero (The Slackers). Click here for the full rundown of dates and venues.



Founder of Asian Man Records starts new label Fun Fun Records focusing on childrens music

Mike Park, founder of long running Asian Man Records has launched a new label called Fun Fun Records, which will focus on releasing music for children and “all things positive.”  There are already releases planned from Kepi Goulie, Dan Potthast, Greg Attonito and Shanti Wintergate but no specific details other than that.

Pouzza Fest 2012 begins announcing line-up

Bands have officially started to join this year’s Pouzza Fest, which will be held on May 18th through the 20th in Montreal, Canada. Headliners announced so far include the Bouncing Souls, Hot Water Music, the Suicide Machines, Kepi Ghoulie, the Menzingers, and Matt Smasher of the Planet Smashers performing solo. Kepi Ghoulie offers paintings/test pressings of “I Bleed Rock ‘N’ Roll”

Reigning “Cover Art Of The Week” champion Kepi Ghoulie has some pretty unique items offered up.

It seems he’s offering one-off paintings that were done as artwork for his latest release, “I Bleed Rock ‘N’ Roll.” Each painting comes with a test pressing of the record. Click here to see some of the artwork, and click here to get your own.

“I Bleed Rock ‘N’ Roll” was released last week on Asian Man Records, and will appear in the “Cover Art of the Month” battle for November (as soon as I finish it!).

Kepi Ghoulie releasing new full-length “I Bleed Rock And Roll”

Kepi Ghoulie, former front-man of pop-punk act Groovie Ghoulies, will be releasing his next full-length solo album titled “I Bleed Rock And Roll” on Asian Man Records towards the end of the year.  Mike Park of Asian Man comments:

And just this week KEPI told me “OH by the way Mike I’m done with my new album.  Can we release it in October? “.   UGGGHHH!!!!!  Well…… my dearest KEPI, October seems like a long long shot, but I am going to try my hardest to get this out by the end of the year.

Kepi is also recording a follow up in NYC right now with Vic Ruggierio of The Slackers for a second split release sometime in 2012.
