Todd Congelliere (Toys That Kill) releases new LP “Wrong Side”

Todd Congelliere, front-man of San Pedro punk act Toys That Kill, has released a new 10-track solo album titled Wrong Side.

You can listen to the first half of the album below. The full album can be purchased for $5 on bandcamp.

Wrong Side was released on February 25 through Congelliere’s own Recess Records. It follows Congelliere’s Time to Be a Pussy EP and Toys That Kill’s Fambly 42, both released in 2012.

Toys That Kill announce US fall tour w/ Teenage Bottlerocket, Night Birds & more

San Pedro punk act Toys That Kill have announced they will be hitting the road for an extensive run of US tour dates throughout this month and November with Teenage Bottlerocket, Night Birds, Future Virgins, and many other varying bands playing select dates.

Grabass Charlestons announce new full-length album “Dale & the Careeners”

It’s been a while since we’ve heard from Florida pop-punkers Grabass Charlestons, but they’re back on the radar now with a new album.  The band will be releasing Dale & the Careeners on October 23rd via No Idea Records.  It’ll be the band’s first full-length since their 2005 release Ask Mark Twain.  However, you’ll remember that Grabass Charlestons have released splits with Toys That Kill, The Ergs, and The Arrivals in the last few years.

But back to the new album…

It’ll be Grabass Charlestons’ first recorded release with drummer Ryan Quinney, who took over on drums in 2010.  Nothing’s been confirmed yet, but the band is hoping to tour the Southeast in support of the new album.

San Pedro punk act Toys That Kill are offering a free download of a new live album, “Live at the Triple Rock”, courtesy of Red Sound Records. The album features artwork by Lauren Denitzio (The Measure [sa]) and was recorded by Mike Wedel (Rivethead).
