Free music: Dan Cribb releases first song from Simpsons tribute album

Dan Cribb (Dan Cribb & The Isolated, former frontman of The Decline) is kicking off a new project for you fans of The Simpsons. He just released the first song in a monthly tribute series to the iconic animated show. Listen to and/or download “Flaming Moe’s” below.

As part of the eventual LP, Worst Tribute Ever, Cribb plans to release a new track each month for the next year, enlisting the help of a guest vocalist for each song. For this debut track, it was fellow Australian singer/songwriter Alex Lahey.

Other prominent artists are already lined up to contribute to punk rock versions of “Monorail,” “Who Needs The Kwik-E Mart,” and more. Each song will be released on Cribb’s Bandcamp page, which you can find right here.

Apparently he’s a big fan of TV comedies, as the latest music from his band, Dan Cribb & The Isolated includes a cover of “5,000 Candles In The Wind,” from Parks & Recreation band Mouse Rat (RIP Li’l Sebastian).

Derek Grant and Dan Cribb announce split 7-inch; stream new songs

Alkaline Trio‘s Derek Grant and The Isolated‘s Dan Cribb are teaming up together for an acoustic split 7-inch. The EP will feature three new songs by each artist, and will be available on December 11, 2015 through Pee Records. You can pre-order the release here.

Useless ID‘s Yotam Ben Horin and The Isolated‘s Dan Cribb will be releasing a releasing a split acoustic EP together on August 28th but you don’t have to wait until then to hear it. Today we’re happy to bring you an exclusive stream of the entire release and you can listen to that bad boy below!

The split contains six songs (two new songs and a cover from each artist) and is being released through Pee Records.

Yotam Ben Horin (Useless ID) and Dan Cribb (The Isolated) announce split EP; stream new songs

Useless ID‘s Yotam Ben Horin and The Isolated‘s Dan Cribb have announced that they will be releasing a split acoustic EP together. The release will contain six songs, with two new songs and a cover from each. For Cribb’s half of the record, ex-The Swellers frontman Nick Diener provides additional instrumentation.

Both artists are also streaming a new song each. You can hear Yotam Ben Horin’s “The Other Side of the Country” and Dan Cribb’s “I Need You to Be Me” below.

Stream Jimmy Eat World tribute album “Sing It Back” (Wander, You Vandal, Dan Cribb & the Isolated)

Arizona pop-punk icons Jimmy Eat World changed the game when it comes to pop-punk. Since 2001 they have released hit after hit and have stood the test of time as a wildly popular and influential band of the 2000’s and today; so it is no surprise that a tribute album has been made honoring them. The album is called “Sing It Back” and you can give it a listen below.

The release is curated by Australian pop-punk band Dan Cribb & The Isolated and features the likes of Wander, Long Knives, Burn The City, You Vandal and more. Proceeds from the album will go directly to Unicef’s Nepal Earthquake Children’s Appeal to help raise awareness over the ongoing struggles surrounding the aftershock of the devastating Nepal earthquakes.

Dan Cribb & The Isolated stream new single “The Last Time”

Dan Cribb & The Isolated, the solo project gone full band project from former frontman for Australian punk group, The Decline, is streaming a new single titled “The Last Time.”  Once again teaming up with The Swellers’ frontman Nick Diener – who is currently in the country for Soundwave – and collaborating from opposite ends of the world, the track takes a step forward from Cribb’s 2012 acoustic EP and employs all the hallmarks of a classic pop punk release.

Derek Grant (Alkaline Trio) and Dan Cribb (ex-The Decline) announce Australian shows

Alkaline Trio’s Derek Grant has announced that he will be going down under to play two Australian launch dates with former vocalist of The Decline, Dan Cribb. Both artists will be touring in support of new solo material. You can check out the dates and locations on the tour poster below.

Grant released his debut album Breakdown on January 20, 2015 via Red Scare Industries. Cribb, meanwhile, has been working with his new band Dan Cribb and The Isolation and will release his new single “The Last Time” on February 17, 2015. 

Dan Cribb & The Isolated recording debut full-length, announce Australian shows

Dan Cribb, frontman for Australian punk group, The Decline, has just announced he will be recording his debut full length. The album will be co-produced by former Swellers frontman Nick Diener, and is the first full length featuring Cribb’s full band, The Isolated.

In addition to a new full length, Dan Cribb has just announced a short run of Australian tour dates supporting Say Anything and Jay Walley (Frenzal Rhomb.) Check the dates out below.

Dan Cribb (The Decline) announces tour dates with Ben David

Dan Cribb, frontman for Australian punk group, The Decline, has announced a mini-tour with fellow Aussie, Ben David.

Cribb will be playing his first tour with a full band, including Harry (The Decline) on drums, Ben David on guitar, and Kye ‘K-Pax’ O’Sullivan (Local Resident Failure) on bass.

Dan Cribb, longtime singer of Perth based band The Decline, is streaming his entire debut solo EP “The Memories Last” right here.

The album was released today (the 19th of July) through Pee Records.
