Reverend Horton Heat announced upcoming album, “Rev”

Psychobilly band, Reverend Horton Heat, have announced that their upcoming album, Rev, will be released on January 21st of 2014, on Victory Records. This will be the group’s 11th studio album.

The band’s last album Laughin’ and Cryin’ with Reverend Horton Heat was released in 2009 on Yep Roc Records.



Larry and His Flask announce US tour

Folk-punk superstars Larry and His Flask have announced a pretty passive US tour with Murder By Death and Reverend Horton Heat.

Continental announce new tour dates

Punk spinoff Continental, project from Rick Barton (ex-Dropkick Murphys, Everybody Out!), has announced a string of tour dates through the spring.  The band will start by playing support Irish favorites The Tossers (dates here), then rockabilly king Reverend Horton Heat (dates here).   It’s also looking like a summer tour is in the works with the Mahones with a huge potential date list.

Continental released their most recent album “All A Man Can Do” via East Grand Records.



Guttermouth, Reverend Horton Heat team up for West Coast tour

Guttermouth have announced a bunch of West Coast tour dates for February and March. Along the way, they’ll be doing a bunch of shows with Reverend Horton Heat.

Bad Religion, Pennywise and Reverend Horton Heat to headline this year’s MusInk Tattoo and Music Festival

Bad Religion, Pennywise (yes, with Jim on vocals) and Reverend Horton Heart have been added as headliners of the 6th annual MusInk Tattoo and Music Festival, which will take place in Costa Mesa at the O.C. Fairgrounds from March 8th to March 10th.

Bad Religion will headline the Friday date, while Pennywise and Reverend Horton Heart headline the Saturday and Sunday dates respectively. Also playing at the festival are The Vandals, Guttermouth, Lagwagon, TSOL, Lucero, The Headcat (featuring Lemmy from Motörhead) and Social Distortion guitarist Jonny “2 Bags” Wickerhsam as a solo artist.

Pennywise are the only act of the three headliners that does not have a new album out this year to support, with Bad Religion set to support True North, which arrives this month, and The Reverend Horton Heat gearing up to release a new album, with a tour to follow as well. However, Pennywise did release a new album last May, All or Nothing, their first one in 4 years.



The Reverend Horton Heat announce 2012/2013 US tour dates

Victory Records‘ most recent signing, psychobilly act The Reverend Horton Heart will be embarking on an extensive tour of North America, which starts in a few days and carries on into the early months of 2013.

The Reverend Horton Heat signs to Victory Records

Well this just happened out of nowhere! It appears that famed psychobilly act The Reverend Horton Heat has just joined the Victory Records family. The Rev had this to say:

“We are very excited to be a Victory band now. Since we are going to get back to doing some edgier stuff, it makes perfect sense to be on Victory. Plus, they are as passionate as we are. Stay tuned for some crazy ideas about our new album. Tony said I’m graduating to Pope. Hallelujah!!!””

Larry and His Flask announce Middle America tour

Bluegrass punks Larry and His Flask have announced tour dates in support of The Reverend Horton Heat across the Midwest this February and March.

The Reverend’s last album, “Liquor In The Front” was released on Sub Pop in 2006.
