New York pop punk band I Am the Avalanche have let loose some details regarding their upcoming third studio album, Wolverines. The album will be released on March 18th through Rude Records, and will feature ten brand new songs. Frontman Vinnie Caruana had some words about the album:

New York pop punk band, I Am the Avalanche, recently spoke with Esquire magazine. In their interview, they talked about their new song, “The Shape I’m In”, and their upcoming album, Wolverines.
Vinnie Caruana, lead vocalist, talked about the inspiration for the song:
“I wrote these lyrics in the most physical pain I’ve ever been in multiplied by 1,000. I spent months bedridden and doped up on painkillers and muscle relaxers from an injury I sustained. Sanchez [guitarist Mike Ireland] came through with the killer riff. This is our anthem for the bruised.”
You can listen to the song, and read the original article here.
The new album is expected to be released mid- March through I Surrender Records.
