Violent Affair will release 7″ on June 13th

Oklahoma City hardcore/street punks Violent Affair are releasing the first in a series of 7″ records on June 13th.  The first installment in the “Anthems of Defiance in a Dying World” series will feature four tracks, and you can see the track names below.

We’ll keep you posted as more details come out about the series.



The Jukebox Romantics post new video for “Living with Sin”

The Jukebox Romantics have a new video out for their song, “Living with Sin,” and you can check it out below.  The track will be featured on the band’s upcoming 7″, Plot Points, which will be released by Jailhouse Records on July 14th.

The band will follow up the 7″ with a full-length album this August.  Both efforts will be produced by The Bouncing Souls guitarist Pete Steinkopf.



Symbol Six to release split with Rikk Agnew

L.A. hardcore band Symbol Six has announced that their split with Rikk Agnew (of Christian Death) will be released on June 9th via Jailhouse Records.

The split, called Split and Stitched, will feature some brand-new tracks from Symbol Six, as well as covers of punk classics, handpicked by Rikk.  The limited run of 500 copies can be picked up in person at their release party on June 6th at the Doll Hut in L.A.



Jukebox Romantics sign to Jailhouse Records, new 7-inch/full length/tour in the works

The Jukebox Romantics have announced they have signed to Jailhouse Records. Their Jailhouse Records debut will come in the form of a 7-inch entitled “Plot Points” to be released in June,  followed by their third full length release later in the summer;  both produced by Bouncing Souls guitarist and good friend Pete Steinkopf.

The band is gearing up for a U.S tour this summer, with plans to tour Europe in early 2016. No tour dates have been announced as of yet, but we will keep you posted!

The band’s last release was “Hollywood Is Dead” on Death to False Hope Records.



Teenage Rehab streams new track “Southside Poverty” off upcoming 7″ “Break Yourself”

Kentucky punk band Teenage Rehab is currently streaming a new track “Southside Poverty.” Check it out here.

Jailhouse Records to release split 12-inch with Blanks 77 and The Parasitix

Jailhouse Records has just announced that Blanks 77 will be hitting the studio towards the end of this year for a split with fellow NJ street punk band The Parasitix. The split will consist of 4 brand new tracks from each band.

This will be the first recorded output from the Blanks 77 camp in over 10 years, and is the classic 92 lineup of the band.

Jailhouse is hoping for a late spring release.



Jailhouse Records signs Two Faced (Australian hardcore)

Jailhouse Records has announced the signing of Australian hardcore band Two Faced to their label.  The band is relatively new, and the label is working with them “from the ground up,” according to their statement on the signing.

Two Faced recently played some Australian dates with Boston’s Slapshot, and the band plans to have an album out in the spring or summer of 2015.



New Music: Stream PanzerBastard’s “Workhorse” from upcoming split with Tenebrae

Good news for fans of the Boston hardcore/thrash scenes. For a limited time, you can stream a brand new PanzerBastard track! The song is called “Workhorse,” and it is slated to appear on “The Sons Of Belial,” which is the band’s upcoming split with fellow Boston vets Tenebrae. Check out “Workhorse” below.

“The Sons Of Belial” will be released by the folks at Jailhouse Records. No official release date has come across our desk, but we’ll keep you posted.



Violent Affair announce West Coast tour dates

Oklahoma City streetpunk band Violent Affair are touring in September, and you can check out the flyer for their West Coast Destruction Tour below.

The band most recently released The Cockroach Theory, which won our cover art battle last September.  They are also working on a series of 7″ releases, which will be called Anthems of Defiance in a Dying World, and you can read more about that here.



Symbol Six announce US fall tour

California hardcore punk veterans Symbol Six will be touring the US this fall, and you can find out when and where they’ll be stopping below.

The band’s new full-length Dirtyland was released on July 8th through Jailhouse Records. You can stream/purchase the album on Bandcamp.



Video: Dave Tejas of Krum Bums supports Austin and sustainable cooking in Travel Channel Underground BBQ Challenge

Dave Tejas (Rodriguez) of Krum Bums is participating in the Travel Channel Underground BBQ Challenge, a competition to find the best hometown BBQ with a chance to win $10,000.

As for the band, the Austin punks will release a new 12″ EP entitled Smoke on November 28th through Jailhouse Records as a limited edition pressing specifically for Black Friday Record Store Day. Only 500 copies will be pressed for the occasion. A full pressing will follow in 2015, as will a lengthy tour.



Fang announce Midwest tour dates with Against The Grain

Bay Area punk veterans Fang have just announced some shows they will be playing in the Midwest this August with support from Against The Grain. More info can be found below.

Fang last released a split with Symbol Six on April 19th through Jailhouse Records.



Krum Bums unveil title and release information for new 12-inch E.P.

Details have finally been announced for the upcoming Krum Bums release!

The Austin-TX street punks will release “Smoke,” a 12-inch E.P., on November 28th as a limited edition pressing specifically for Black Friday Record Store Day. Only 500 of the 45rpm albums will be pressed for the occasion. A full pressing will follow in 2015, as will a lengthy tour. Stay tuned for info.

“Smoke” will mark the Krum Bums’ Jailhouse Records debut. Their last album, 2011’s “Cut The Noose,” was released on People Like You Records.

California hardcore act Symbol Six wont be physically releasing their new album, Dirtyland, until next month, but that hasn’t stopped them from putting up a full stream of right now.

Two new tracks streaming from the upcoming Tenebrae/Panzerbastard split

Fans of hardcore punk and thrash metal, click here to stream 2 new songs off of the upcoming split from Panzerbastard and Tenebrae, The Sons of Belial.  These 2 bands, both staples of the Boston hardcore scene, will release the split via Jailhouse Records.
