Broadcast Zero break up, give away free downloads of both albums

Well now I’m totally bummed. Ontario punkers Broadcast Zero have decided to break up. Here’s what their guitarist Phil had to say,

Broadcast Zero broke up Summer of 2011, formed in 2005 (local to KW) and played about 200 shows. Furthest East we got was St. John’s Newfoundland, West – Victoria, B.C., North was Whitehorse, Yukon and furthest South was Las Vegas. We made a shit ton of friends and managed to put out 2 albums. in the process while touring West Canada 3 times, East once and West Coast USA once. There are two demos around (total 9 songs) and also a track called “Better Than You” that was recorded on our first album but never released. Thanks everyone for your support throughout the years, it is incredible to see some of the bands we started playing with years ago still going strong, keep it up! If you are in a band, go tour across Canada while you have an excuse, it’s a beautiful journey. We never made a music video, but always thought it would have been a fun thing to do. I thought Nick was an excellent story teller and a challenging/critical lyricist, I hope people got something out of it, I know I sure did. Cheers.

The band is giving away downloads of both their albums for free here.
