The Lagan (celtic punk) announce debut album “Where’s Your Messiah Now?”

Banquet Records will release celtic punk band The Lagan’s debut album “Where’s Your Messiah Now?” on St Patrick’s Day.

‘Where’s Your Messiah Now?’ mixes self-penned tunes with traditional folk songs arranged in The Lagan’s signature folk punk style and was produced by Paul Matthews of I Am Giant.

Here’s what the label had to say about the release:

“We’re excited to be putting out the UK and Ireland release of the Kingston / Count Down celtic-folk-punk band The Lagan’s debut album. From right on our doorstep we’ve been watching this band grow, drink and party and they’ve become one of the best there is. With as many serious messages presented as there are beer soaked sing-a-longs, the band’s always with a smile, the gigs are always a good craic. Fans of all from Flogging Molly and Dropkicks to Frank Turner and Rancid will find something great here.”
