War on Women stream new song “Lone Wolves”

Baltimore’s War on Women have released a brand new track called “Lone Wolves.” The track is one off of their upcoming album, Capture the Flag, which is scheduled for release on April 13th through Bridge 9.

Capture the Flag will serve as a follow-up to the group’s 2015 self-titled album.



War On Women stream “YDTMHTL” ahead of new album

War on Women are to release a new album via Bridge 9 Records on April 13th. “Capture The Flag” is a 12 song affair, with pre-orders up now on the label Bandcamp. The band are streaming the penultimate track on the album, “YDTMHTL”.

Lemuria release fan made music video for “Christine Perfect”

Lemuria recently held a contest where they encouraged their fans to make music videos for any song off their new album, Recreational Hate, with the winner to be released as an official music video.

The winner is Erik Button of Charlotte, North Carolina, and you can check out his video for “Christine Perfect” below.

Recreational Hate was released digitally in late 2017.  Physical copies were released on February 2nd.



Lemuria stream new track “Wanted To Be Yours” ahead of new album “Recreational Hate”

Lemuria are to release new album “Recreational Hate” on February 2nd. Following a secretive pre-order campaign earlier this year, the band are rewarding backers with early copies of the record; everyone else will have to make do with advance track “Wanted To Be Yours” ahead of pre-order details being released.

American Nightmare announce 2018 tour with No Warning and Pissed Jeans, tease new music for 2018

American Nightmare at Wrecking Ball 2016 - Sunday

Melodic hardcore punks American Nightmare have just announced a slew of shows for the upcoming early 2018 which will run from February to early March. The guys will be heading out with No Warning, and Pissed Jeans.

Although they’ve been broken up since 2004, the guys have also just teased new music through Rise Records. We don’t know much more information but we will keep you updated as we know more.

Hardcore vets American War Machine (Slapshot, Agnostic Front, Blood for Blood) release new single “Becoming Death”

If you’re in need of some fresh east coast hardcore, American War Machine have you covered. They’ve released a single from their upcoming EP, “Prey Drive.” The EP will be released via Bride Nine Records on October 20th.

No Warning (Hardcore) release music video for new song “Hell Realm”

Canadian hardcore legends No Warning have released a music video for their new song “Hell Realm”, you can watch it below. The song is from their upcoming album “Torture Culture”.

The new album will be released on October 13th via Last Gang Entertainment and Bad Actors. It is the band’s first album release since 2004’s “Suffer, Survive”.

The Eulogy (hardcore, MA) announce EP “Last Days” and stream “Pete’s Song” from it

Boston based hardcore unit The Eulogy are allowing fans to stream a sample from their latest EP Last Days. Featuring members of Madball and Agnostic Front, and having their music released via Bridge Nine Records should give you some idea of the sounds they create but if it didn’t, a glance at their latest cover artwork definitely will.

Backtrack stream new song “Bad To My World”

New York hardcore band Backtrack are streaming their new single “Bad To My World,” you can give it a listen below.

The track will appear on a limited edition zine/flexi combo available digitally on September 1st and physically on September 8th from Bridge Nine Records. The track will also appear on their forthcoming new full-length, due out later this year on the same label.

The band will begin touring later this year on the Life & Death tour with bands such as No Warning and Twitching Tounges. Get more information here.



Bridge Nine Records sign The Eulogy (Hardcore)

The Eulogy are made up from members of legendary hardcore bands such as Madball and Agnostic Front. The band is releasing a new EP called “Last Days” which is due out on September 22nd from Bridge Nine Records. Over the last two years, the band has been playing shows all over the West Coast supporting bands like H2O, Madball and the Cro Mags while developing a loyal following of their own.

Matt Henderson had this to say about the band:

“This isn’t some nostalgia trip. There are other elements to the sound. We are tuned down which gives us a much heavier feel. The band was founded by guys from NY, Boston and New Jersey so of course we bring that to the table, there are also elements of early punk and death metal.”

The band released their self titled EP in 2015 via Flatspot Records.



Bridge Nine Records announces book “xXx Fanzine (1983-1988) Hardcore & Punk in the Eighties”

Bridge Nine is reproducing and restoring the classic fanzine that chronicled the rise of punk and hardcore in the eighties. The 288 page book will include re-interviews with Ian MacKaye, Keith Morris, members of Agnostic Front, Bad Brains, and Cro-Mags.

A 19 track compilation will be included with the book and will include Strife, letlive., Fu Manchu, and Riverboat Gamblers contributing their interpretations of songs from the book’s era.

Other features in the book will include (deep breath), Minor Threat, Misfits, Necros, Circle Jerks, Suicidal Tendencies, Husker Du, Jerry’s Kids, Black Flag, D.O.A., G.B.H, Void, Negative Approach, 7 Seconds, D.Y.S., Scream, Metallica, Corrosion of Conformity, Minutemen, The Exploited, Anthrax, Subhumans, Dead Kennedys, SSD, Henry Rollins, Descendents, Bad Brains, Youth of Today, Motorhead, Dag Nasty, Snapshot, Samhain, Agnostic Front, Cro-Mags, Bad Religion, Fugazi, and more.

The book will be released some time this fall.
