Tour: Great Cynics announce 2012 UK tour dates w/ Crazy Arm & Apologies, I Have None

East London folk-punks Great Cynics just wrapped up a short run of UK tour dates w/ Crazy Arm and Smokey Bastard yesterday and have already announced they will be heading out on another run of UK tour dates in March 2012 w/ Crazy Arm and Apologies, I Have None.

Great Cynics’ last release was “Don’t Need Much,” which came out in June via Kind Of Like Records. Apologies, I Have None are also offering a free download of a new song, called “60 Miles,” off their upcoming album.

Great Cynics just announced that the band will be on tour in December with Crazy Arm and Smokey Bastard.

Music Video: Great Cynics – “Cider For Breakfast”

London’s own folk punks, Great Cynics, formerly known simply as Cynics, have premiered the music video for their song “Cider For Breakfast” off their recent release “Don’t Need Much.”  Directed by Andrew Butler, the video was shot at a cuckoo clock museum in Chesire, England called Cuckooland.  Check it out here.

London’s own folk punks, Great Cynics, the artists formerly known simply as Cynics, are hitting the road in their home country with UK punkers The Living Daylights. They’ll also be doing a few shows with Lemuria and Living with Lions. The tour is mostly in July, with a couple of August dates. Check them out here.

Band name change: “Cynics” become “Great Cynics”

Cynics, the folk-trio from London, have been forced to chance their name due to a lawsuit brought on by PA garage band Cynics. So, Cynics have become “Great Cynics.”

“Don’t Need Much,” the band’s debut LP is due out June 14th.
