Bowling for Soup have announced that their new album will be called  “Lunch. Drunk. Love.”

They will embark on their farewell tour this October with Patent Pending.

Bowling for Soup released their last album, “One Big Happy” via their own Queso Records last September.



Bowling for Soup announce farewell tour

After nearly 20 years as a band, Texas rock group Bowling for Soup is rolling to a stop. The band has announced their “Bowling for Soup Bids Farewell Tour” which will include their final UK dates.

While they will quit touring to take stress off of their family lives, they have no plans to stop making music.

Here is what lead singer Jarret Reddick has to say about the farewell:
We’re all excited about the future and what’s next. Honestly, it opens up the whole world for us! If you’re a fan of Bowling For Soup, this really is better news than it seems. You may not be seeing us in person as much, but you’re definitely gonna have more new songs.

The group has a fan-funded album set to be released in September as well as a re-recording of their Greatest Hits for the 20th anniversary of Bowling for Soup in 2014.

Bowling for Soup working on new album

Long running pop-punk act Bowling for Soup have launched a pledge campaign for their next full-length album.  The band writes:

“In just a few days, I will begin the process of writing songs for the next Bowling for Soup album. Then, this spring, we will hunker down in downtown Denton, Texas and start recording!!!”

Bowling for Soup released their last album, “One Big Happy” via their own Queso Records last September.

For those of you that have a hard time accepting Bowling For Soup as a punk band, this just might seal the deal. Frontman Jaret Reddick will be the new voice for everyone’s favorite childhood hangout, Chuck E. Cheese.

The chain will be unveiling a revamped image of the Chuck E. Cheese mascot as a guitar-playing rock star.

Bowling for Soup will be touring across Europe this fall, check out the dates here. The band has also announced that they will be releasing their album “One Big Happy” via their own record label Queso Records.



Bowling For Soup announce 15-date UK tour, new album

Texas-based punk-pop band Bowling For Soup will be heading across the pond to the UK for their 30th visit.  It’s all part of the “One Big Happy Tour”, in support of their 18-year anniversary as a band and their newest album.  You can check out all the tour dates right here.

And all you Londoners:  don’t fret.  The reason why you don’t see your great city on the tour list is because the guys of BFS are planning to play there at the Warped Tour on November 12th.

The band’s new album “One Big Happy” will be released on their own Queso Records.  So far no further details have been released, but once those do come out, we’ll let you all know.

Texas pop-punkers Bowling For Soup are hitting the road in April. They’ll start out in Kansas and play a bunch of US shows before ending up in Dallas on May 5.

Bowling For Soup announce acoustic UK tour dates

Texas pop-punkers Bowling For Soup have announced dates for what has become an annual acoustic tour of the United Kingdom.

Billed as “a fantastic chance for fans of BFS, old and new, hard-core and moderate, to get up close and personal with the band and experience a stripped-down take on the bands expansive library of tunes,” the tour kicks off in March in Northampton. Click here for the full rundown.

Today Bowling For Soup released a split 7-inch with their less-known friends in The Dollyrots and you can pick up a copy for yourself right here.
