Beach Slang stream new song “American Girls and French Kisses”

Philadelphia, PA’s Beach Slang (featuring members of WestonEx Friends, and more) have released a new song titled “American Girls and French Kisses”. The track comes off of the band’s upcoming EP, Cheap Thrills on a Dead End Street.

Beach Slang will release Cheap Thrills on a Dead End Street digitally on September 30, 2014 and physically on October 28, 2014 on Tiny Engines.

Iron Chic announce split 7-inch with Low Culture

Long Island punks Iron Chic have announced they are currently working on a split 7-inch with New Mexico’s Low Culture, with plans for a fall release through Dead Broke Rekerds and Dirt Cult Records.

We’ll keep you posted as more details on the split come to light. Iron Chic’s sophomore album The Constant One was released last November on Bridge Nine Records, and they were recently added to the lineup for Fest 13.

Texas-based “snotty and melodic-as-fuck pop-punk” band Prince (no, not that Prince), which features members of Huff Stuff Magazine, Dude Jams!, Capitalist Kids & Wild America, are streaming their self-titled four-song EP in its entirety. Check it out below.

Beach Slang to release debut EP “Who Would Ever Want Anything So Broken?”

Philadelphia-based punk act Beach Slang is getting ready to release their debut EP “Who Would Ever Want Anything So Broken?” next month through Dead Broke Rekerds.

The band recorded the album last summer, and has been available to stream since last month, however this marks the four-track EP’s official release.

Somerset Thrower (ex-members of The Agent, Bastard Cut, Halfway To Hell Club & more) streams new song “Shelf Life” off upcoming debut 7″ EP “Falling Swingers”

Long Island, New York-based Somerset Thrower features members of The Agent, Bastard Cut and more, and plays a style of music that is not only melodic, but still has grit while maintaining a nod to the past. There’s a sense of nostalgia and angst behind what I’ve heard so far.

The band recently joined the Dead Broke Rekerds family and is preparing to release their debut 7″ EP “Falling Swingers” this summer.
