Moving Mountains & Moneen stream songs from new split EP

New York’s Moving Mountains and Ontario’s Moneen have announced they will be releasing a split EP this Friday through Dine Alone Records. Two tracks from the EP, which are the bands covering each other, can be heard below.

Moving Mountains and Moneen will be playing a short run of Northeastern tour dates with Prawn later this week. More info on that can be found here.

Moving Mountains releases new track, announces 7″ split with Prawn

New York post-hardcore outfit Moving Mountains has just released a brand new track off their upcoming 7″ split with Prawn. The song is called “Deathless” and features a pleasant, dreamy blend of acoustic instruments, alongside a contemplative set of lyrics. Check it out below.

The split is currently set for a November 27 release date, and will feature two tracks from each band. It’s being released by Triple Crown Records, and can currently be per-ordered on their website.



Moving Mountains stream bonus track off upcoming “Pneuma” re-release

New York post-hardcore outfit Moving Mountains has just released some kinda-new material. The band just streamed remixes of their tracks “8105” and “Ode To We Will Bury Ourselves”, which serve as two bonus tracks on the upcoming re-release of their first studio album “Pneuma”. Honestly, the remixes are pretty solid, particularly the one for “8105”, which gives the track a much more dreamy feel through the addition of a violin and some electronic distortion. This marks the first news from the band since they entered their hiatus back in September 2013. The “Pneuma” re-issue is being re-mastered specifically for a vinyl release by Mike Kalajian, and will include additional artwork. It’s set for a September 25 release, via Deep Elm Records.



Fireworks offer free downloads of full discography for 24 hours

Detroit’s Fireworks announced they would be going on hiatus earlier this year, and they just wrapped up their last US tour before doing so. As a parting gift, Triple Crown Records is offering the band’s full discography available for free download for 24 hours.

Fireworks to go on hiatus following US summer tour

According to a recent post on the band’s Facebook page, Fireworks will be going on an indefinite hiatus following their upcoming US summer tour. Here’s what they had to say:

“There’s no way to express how much your love and support has meant to Fireworks – and furthermore, to us as individuals over the last 8 years or so. After these upcoming gigs are ripped, we will be taking a break for awhile to give the other sides of life a try. We really don’t know how long “awhile” is, but you’ll be the first to know when we figure that out. Hope to see everyone this Spring and Summer. Fireworks Forever.”

Fireworks released their latest album Oh, Common Life on March 25th, 2014 through Triple Crown Records. We’ll keep you posted as more details on the band’s future come to light.

Evan Weiss/Into It. Over It.’s last album, was 2013’s “Intersections,” released by Triple Crown Records. Assuming the new music materializes into a full-length, it’ll be the band’s third.
