Scottish melodic punk band Uniforms have decided to call it quits. The band released the following statement:
“Words are inadequate to express the depth of the gratitude we have for everyone who took a chance on and supported our silly punk rock band. UNIFORMS has been therapy for me, the soundtrack to our lives and a central focus of existence for the last three and a half years. For that I shall be forever grateful.”
The band also made their new (and last) EP, Pink Couch, available for streaming. The band had originally planned to release it in March 2015 through Make That A Take Records. You can check it out below.

Been a while since we heard anything from the Unwed camp, but today brings with it some pretty cool news. First and foremost, the Brooklyn-based five-piece, which features members of Small Brown Bike, Primitive Weapons and, of course, Hot Water Music, has announced that they’ve signed to 6131 Records (big news day for that label, by the way).
More importantly, Unwed have announced that their debut full-length, “Raise The Children,” will be released via 6131 on April 14th. You can stream the brand new track “Weapons” right here.
Unwed’s debut 7-inch was released in January 2014 via No Idea Records.
