Pacific Ridge Records announce new comp – “The Scene Vol. 2: We’re Getting Closer”

On June 25th Pacific Ridge Records will be releasing the second volume of their “Scene” compilations.  “The Scene Vol. 2: We’re Getting Closer” features 22 bands representing a plethora of genres from pop-punk to indie rock.  One of those band’s is San Jose pop punk group Stickup Kid with their song “Lighthouse”, which we’re pleased to stream for you right here.

Bright and Early debut “Black and Blue” into their live set

Not too long ago, New Jersey pop-punk act Bright and Early posted a new song titled “Black and Blue”. It looks as if the song is here to stay, as the band recently debuted the song live. You can check out a performance of the song right here.

No word yet on whether or not the song will appear on an upcoming release. Bright and Early last released Getting Through It, which was released in October 2011 via Pacific Ridge. You can also stream their entire discography here.
