Video: Mike Herrera (MxPx) plays “Tomorrow Is Another Day” acoustically

It looks like Mike Herrera is continuing to celebrate the 15th anniversary of the release of MxPx‘s classic album “Slowly Going The Buffalo,” as he has announced he will be posting videos of himself playing songs off the album acoustically for the next week.

MxPx last released “Plans Within Plans” in 2012 on MRI/Rock City Recordings and Jump Start Records. They have since re-released their 2010 “Left Coast Punk” EP on vinyl through Sexy Baby Records.



The Huntingtons announce plans to release new 7-inch on Sexy Baby Records

Baltimore pop punks The Huntingtons have announced they will be releasing a new 7-inch through Sexy Baby Records. The record, which currently has no set release date, will feature the band’s first new material since 2009’s “Punk Sounds” – a compilation of rarities, b-sides, and two new songs.

After playing a sold-out show with Screeching Weasel, Down By Law, and Furious George at Irving Plaza last night, they posted the following message on their Facebook page:

“Mikey forgot to make the announcement so here it is…The Huntingtons will be putting out a 7″ Ep on Sexy Baby Records. More info to follow. The show rocked tonight and every band was awesome! Hope you all enjoyed it guys! Until next time! The Huntingtons!”

We’ll keep you posted as more details on this 7-inch surface. The band’s last release was 2010’s “1-2-3-4!: The Complete Early Years Remastered.”

The Almost have unveiled the artwork and tracklisting for their upcoming album Fear Inside Our Bones. You can check out the artwork over to the left, and the tracklist right here.

Fear Inside Our Bones is set for a June 11th release date through Tooth & Nail Records. The band released the first single from the album, “Ghost”, back in January, which you can hear right here.

Florida native band The Almost have just released a new song off their upcoming album, “Fear Inside Our Bones”. The song is entitled “Ghost”, and is available to stream here.

“Fear Inside Our Bones” is set for an April 13th release date through Tooth & Nail Records.

Illinois pop-punk act Icon For Hire has just released a new music video for their song, “Off With Her Head”.

The track appears on the band’s debut Tooth & Nail full-length, “Scripted”, which was released last year.

MxPx announce plans for new “Screw Loose” 7-inch

Longtime punk rockers MxPx have announced plans for a brand-new seven-inch.

The A-side will feature “Screw Loose,” which appears on their most recent full-length, “Plans Within Plans.” On the flipside will be a new, previously unreleased track entitled “Despise.” No word on a formal release date yet, but we’re sure it’ll be just in time for the holidays. The touring version of longtime Bremerton, Washington punk act MxPx (aka MxPx All-Stars) have announced they will be hitting the road for a short run of tour dates in Australia early next year.
