Bad Luck (Florida punk) announce eight-date home state tour

Daytona Beach-based punks Bad Luck have announced an eight-date, cross-Sunshine State tour with the likes of Reveal Renew and Old Again. The jaunt kicks off April 10th in Orlando and runs through April 17th in Tallahassee. Check out full details below.

Bad Luck recently inked a deal with Tragic Hero Records, and will be re-releasing their album “Cold Bones” sometime this summer.



Finch streaming entire new live album – “What It Is To Burn X”

The resurrection of Finch seems complete today, as the band’s new live album, What It Is To Burn X, is now officially out on Tragic Hero Records. You can stream the entire album below.

The album (which also comes with a DVD) was recorded last year at The Glasshouse in Pomona, California. It features Finch performing their 2003 album What It Is to Burn in its entirety.

Finch are slated to appear on this summer’s Vans Warped Tour, and are also working on their first studio album since 2005’s Say Hello To Sunshine.



Bad Luck signs to Tragic Hero Records, release new single “Willthroughby”

Bad Luck just got some good news.  The Daytona Beach-based punk foursome has just signed to Tragic Hero Records, with whom they will re-release their album Cold Bones.

The new version is due out this sometime this summer but in the meantime, you can check out a new recording of the band’s song “Willoughby” below.

Everyone Dies in Utah covers Katy Perry’s “Unconditionally”

Texas post-hardcore band Everyone Dies in Utah is getting into the Valentine’s Day spirit!  The 6-piece band released a cover of Katy Perry’s “Unconditionally” and a video to go along with it, which includes band footage and fans lip-syncing to the song.  You can watch it below.

Finch delay release of “What is to Burn – X” CD/DVD

Newly reunited post-hardcore band Finch got a bit of bad news for us today.

The band announced that they have been forced to push back the release of “What It Is To Burn – X.” The CD/DVD combo was set  to be released via Tragic Hero Records on January 7th, but now apparently will not see the light of day until February 25th. No real reason for the delay was given.

However pre-orders for the disc and exclusive merch are still available now at the Tragic Hero MerchNow Store. “What It Is To Burn X” is a live album culled from the Pomona, California, stop on the band’s “What It Is To Burn” tenth anniversary tour.



Everyone Dies in Utah releases new video for “Land of 1,000 Kicks”

Texas post-hardcore band Everyone Dies in Utah have released a new lyric video for their song “Land of 1,000 Kicks.”  The song is featured on their newest album, “Neutral Ground,” which was released on November 19th via Tragic Hero Records.

Texas-based post-hardcore sextet Everyone Dies In Utah is getting to release their new upcoming full-length in two weeks.

The album is entitled “Neutral Ground” and is set to be released on November 19th through Tragic Hero Records.

Justin Yost (ex-Everyone Dies in Utah) streams new song “31st and 9th”

Ex-Everyone Dies In Utah vocalist Justin Yost has begun a new project called The Secret Songs of Us. Here’s what he had to say about it:

I’ve been working on these songs since eighth grade and am beyond excited to get them out. It’s a little different than EDIU; it’s not heavy; there’s no screaming. I’ve kind of thought of it as Mayday Parade meets Angels And Airwaves.

The Secret Songs of Us’ debut full-length entitled “Essentials of Human Emotion” is set to be released on January 13th, 2014. Justin is raising funds to release the album with an Indiegogo, which you can check out and donate to right here.

Newly reunited post-hardcore band Finch has announced that they will release a live CD/DVD celebrating the ten year anniversary of their album “What It Is To Burn.” The CD/DVD will be released via Tragic Hero Records and was filmed and recorded at The Glasshouse in Pomona, CA where the band performed their full-length in its entirety.

“What It Is To Burn – X” will be available in stores and online 01/07/14, but pre-orders for the disc and exclusive merch can be placed now at the Tragic Hero MerchNow Store.

Finch is currently on the What It Is To Burn 10 Year Anniversary Tour.
