The Mad Murdocks announce Canadian summer tour

Ontario punks The Mad Murdocks have announced they will be hitting the road for a quick run of Canadian summer tour dates in early August.

The band last released a 7-inch entitled “Going Long,” which you can download for free right here, in January through Get Party! Records.

Song Premiere: Reunion (punk) – “She Was A Season”

On June 24th Ontario punk act Reunion will release their sophomore EP “Seasons” on 7-inch through Get Party Records / Synicalist records.  The 7″ will feature 2 new songs while the digital release will have a bonus track titled “She Was A Season”, which we are happy to be streaming exclusively for you today.

Introducing New Punk Act: Deforesters

Deforesters is a gritty pop-punk from Toronto newly formed from the ashes of some relatively unknown local punk acts.  Whilst groping for a band to compare them to Banner Pilot is about the best that I can come up with and all in all I’d say they sound quite promising.  But check them out yourselves and make your own call.  Get Party Records has announced they will be releasing the band’s first demo on 7″ later this summer and you can stream said demo right here.

Reunion to release “Seasons” 7-inch EP on Get Party Records / Synicalist Records

Ontario, Canada’s Reunion plan on releasing their sophomore song EP “Seasons” on 7-inch through Get Party Records / Synicalist records. The record is scheduled to be released at the end of June and for now the band is streaming two brand new songs from the 7″ here.

Introducing New Punk Band: The Mad Murdocks (free EP download)

Looking for a new punk band to check out?  The Mad Murdocks hail from Whitby Ontario and on Feburary 5th they will be releasing their debut 7″ “Going Long” on Get Party Records. You can stream that bad boy right here and if you dig it you can download it for pay-what-you-want on bandcamp (also pre-order info for the 7-inch).

The band is currently writing their first full length with plans of release late 2013/early 2014.
