DCDR, formerly “Dead Cats Dead Rats”, out of Boston MA have just released their 7th and latest studio album. The 7 track album entitled “Raw” is described by the band as “an album recorded in a raw format to capture the energy of our live shows”. Stream it below.

DCDR, the Boston based grunge punks formerly known as “Dead Cats Dead Rats” have just finished up a new track with Ocelot Records in anticipation of their upcoming album “Raw”, due out in late November.
“Zombie Girl” was tracked, mixed, and mastered at Devotion Recording (Everett, MA) under the direction of Jim Keaney. The unintentionally Halloween-themed song was slated for release in early 2015, but DCDR and Ocelot Records thought it more fitting to release the track for the upcoming holiday. You can stream the “Zombie Girl” below.
The track will not be featured on the band’s upcoming full length.

New Hampshire’s A Minor Revolution has announced a 13 city tour around the western coast of the United States. The band will be touring in support of their new EP, Consexual Sense. You can check out the dates on the tour flyer above.

New Hampshire punks A Minor Revolution are fresh off a spring 2014 release of their latest EP entitled Consexual Sense and they’ve just finished recording a split with The Digs (Boston) that will be coming out sometime this fall through Ocelot Records.
In anticipation of an upcoming west-coast tour and the split featuring the guys have decided to release their debut album AMRica for free download. You can give it a listen below, and if you dig it go grab it for free on Bandcamp.

Each year Ocelot Records, formerly Boston Bloghead, puts on a charity event to raise money for Rawkstars Inc., a non-profit corporation that helps kids through music programs. For 2014, Ocelot Records went a step further than just a big show and raffle, they created a 25-band digital compilation (20-band CD) to help raise money for the cause.
The compilation includes punk, rock, and metal bands from all over New England and beyond and you can stream it below.
You can pick up the digital compilation for free at the Ocelot Records Bandcamp site or if you want to help out, you can donate or buy a tangible copy of the release for just $3.00 where all proceeds go directly to Rawkstars Inc.

Montreal punk rock band Lost Love have released a music video for the song “Sacrécoeur” from their upcoming record “Sparkles”. It features footage from their recent summer tour in the United States and you can check it out below.
Sparkles will be the band’s follow-up to their 2013 split EP Hosplital with Dying River.
