Avenues (pop punk, WI) Stream Demo of “Supersonic” from Forthcoming Album

Milwaukee-based pop punkers Avenues are streaming a rough cut of a track they’re featuring on a forthcoming record. “Supersonic” will appear on We’re All Doomed which will be released in spring 2018. The album will be the first collection of music from the group since their 2015 EP Creep Show

Fans can check out “Supersonic” below whilst they wait for the full album release.

Odd Robot latest artist to record Bridge City Sessions

Southern California pop-punk band Odd Robot are the latest act to perform for Bridge City Sessions. The band played “Take Two White Pills” and “Knife And A Cigarette” for the session, both from their latest album “A Late Night Panic”.

Wiretap Records release new charity compilation

Los Angeles based label Wiretap Records has released another charity compilation in their “ATTENTION” digital series. The compilation is part of the on-going quarterly compilation series with all proceeds going to the ACLU (American Civil Liberties Union).

Bands included on the compilation are Iron Chic, No Trigger, Such Gold and over thirty others. You can download it from Bandcamp. You can have a listen to the compilation below.

Austin, Texas pop punk quartet, Breaklights has joined the Wiretap Records family for the release of their upcoming album Don’t Try So Hard (due out on January 19th) and their first order of business was to release a video for one of the new songs! This marks the first single to be released from the impending EP, which was produced by Chris Beeble and mastered by Jason Livermore at the infamous Blasting Room in Fort Collins, Colorado (Descendents, Hot Water Music, Teenage Bottlerocket, Rise Against, Bad Cop Bad Cop). HiGH release music video for “Scotfree”

New Orleans-based, fuzz-punk three-piece HiGH have released a music video for their new song “Scotfree”. Watch it below.

The band recently signed to Wiretap Records and will releasing their new album “Evil Gene” on November 17th. You can check them out later this month when they play at The FEST, on Friday October 27th.

New Orleans-based, fuzz-punk three-piece HiGH have announced that they have joined Wiretap Records. To celebrate the news, they’ve also released a new single entitled “Evil Gene”. The band will join the likes of Kamikaze Girls, and Wolves & Wolves & Wolves & Wolves at their new label.

HiGH also have an album that is due for release on November 17, 2017. This is also called Evil Gene. For those who can’t wait for next month, check out the first single and title track from it below.



Wiretap Records release name-your-price charity comp “ATTENTION!”

Wiretap Records have put together a massive 33 track charity compilation, with proceeds going to the ACLU. That’s 33 songs from 33 bands across more than a dozen different labels. You can check out the details at bandcamp.

Odd Robot and Gentlemen Prefer Blood announce West Coast Tour

SoCal punk/pop punk bands Odd Robot and Gentlemen Prefer Blood have announced an August West Coast Tour that kicks off on the 25th. Check out the tour dates below.

Odd Robot hits the road in support of their latest LP “A Late Night Panic” which was released via Wiretap Records earlier this year.

Gentlemen Prefer Blood are fresh off a new 7″ split they released with Black Dots that came out via La Escalera Records.



Kamikaze Girls streams new track ‘Good For Nothing’

UK’s most loveable two-piece Kamikaze Girls streamed a new track today. ‘Good For Nothing’ is probably the last single to drop before the band’s debut full length ‘Seafoam’, out via Big Scary Monsters (UK / RoW) and Wiretap Records (US), sees the light of day on Friday (9th of June).

Los Angeles’ Wiretap Records are streaming another one of their regular compilations on Bandcamp, released to raise money for the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU). 100% of donations for “(Don’t Forget To) Pay Attention” go to the charity.

The last time we heard from Avenues was when they announced plans for a new album. So far, nothing has come of that, but we’ll keep you posted if any details on a follow-up to 2015’s Creep Show emerge.



Regarde (punk/indie) join Wiretap Records, release video for “Last Summer”

The dudes in Italy’s Regarde have recently joined the Wiretap Records roster, and are slated to release their debut full length this fall through Wiretap in the states along with V4V and Epidemic Records overseas.

This band is new to me (I might not be alone there) but if the single is any indication, we’re in for a treat. Check out the video for “Last Summer” below.

Southern California pop-punk band Odd Robot have premiered a new video for their song, “Knife and a Cigarette.”

The band has signed to Wiretap Records, and will be reissuing their newest album, “A Late Night Panic,” on the label this spring.

I can definitely hear the Descendents and Alkaline Trio influences. I’ll be grabbing the LP. If you can’t wait til the reissue, you can check out the album at bandcamp.
