Arizona’s screamo group Blessthefall is planning on heading to the studio in May to record their third full-length album. Soundwave 2011 lineup changes: losing some bands, gaining Polar Bear Club

Like most big festivals, lineups change. In the case of Soundwave 2011, two bands dropped out, and three other bands took their place. Bands Alesana and A Skylit Drive have pulled out and have been replaced by Polar Bear Club and Blessthefall, respectively. The third band, This Town Needs Guns, has been added to the mix. I, personally, have never heard of them, but they have been described as Britain’s best kept secret.

These three bands are part of the gigantic Soundwave 2011 lineup, which can be seen here.

Blessthefall singer Beau Bokan eats it, not blessed when he fell.

This is not a funny story, yet I can’t help find humor in the fact that a guy from a band called Blessthefall, has fallen. Apparently they named the band in expectations of being blessed in the rare case they might trip or fall. Not the case folks! Singer Beau Bokan recently injured himself after falling 25 feet during a performance. Reports state Bokan is not severely hurt, and is expected to make a full recovery. Read the entire story at Alternative Press here.

To see Beau singing on stage with crutches, head over to the band’s Dying Scene Shows page to find out when they’ll be playing near you.
