Their upcoming album ‘SNAFU‘, is coming out March 1st on Get Better Records. Their last full length was ‘Hell Bent’ which was put out back in 2013. The band was recently interviewed by Refinery 29 about the making of the video and the history of the band.

The latest new band to spin out from one of the members is Simple Creatures, consisting of Blink’s Mark Hoppus and All Time Low’s Alex Gaskarth. The Callouts (rock pop punk) stream new album “Give Up”

Providence, RI’s The Callouts have released their sophomore album Give Up, a follow up to 2016’s Check Your Friends, via 75orLess Records. The new album finds them leaning into their pop punk background while also expanding their sound into a space between indie rock and straight forward rock and roll. Making for an eclectic experience that has a little bit of something for everyone.

New Jersey punk rock band Mercy Union, featuring members of The Gaslight Anthem, The Scandals & Let Me Run, will be heading to the UK in May. The band released the ‘The Quarry’ last year, which if you have heard yet, you can check out along with the tour dates below.

New Music: Michael Kane – “Live At The Tavern At The End Of The World”

When we normally run into Michael Kane in these parts, it’s serving as frontman of his great, Worcester, Massachusetts-based band Michael Kane and the Morning Afters, whom you’ve probably read about on these pages. However, Kane’s a pretty formidable solo performer as well. As proof, he self-produced a live album consisting of acoustic, gritty renditions of a few MK & the Morning Afters tracks, a couple covers, and even some new material. It was recorded a couple months back at the Tavern At The End Of The World in Charlestown, MA, and you can check it out below.

Michael Kane and the Morning Afters’ last studio album, “Laughing At The Shape I’m In,” was released back in 2017 on State Line Records.

New Music: Potty Mouth debut “22” from upcoming sophomore album, “SNAFU”

It’s been a while since we heard from Massachusetts-turned-Los Angeles-based Potty Mouth…too long, in fact. BUT, that wait is almost over!

March 1st will mark the release date of SNAFU, the band’s long-awaited sophomore album. It’ll be released on Get Better Records, a rad DIY label run by Potty Mouth bassist Ally Einbinder and her partner Alex Licktenhour. Pre-order options are available here, and include a limited-run comic book written and inked by Potty Mouth frontwoman Abby Weems.

SNAFU marks the follow-up to Potty Mouth’s 2013 debut full-length, Hell Bent. They also released a self-titled EP in 2015.

The Pink Spiders (rock n’roll/power pop) announce tour and release video for ‘Capital F’

After just coming off their run with The Smoking Popes, The Pink Spiders have announced a headlining tour this January and have released a new video for Capital F. Coming to prominence with their major label debut in 2006, The Pink Spiders have been active off and on over the years. Their most recent full length ‘Mutations’ came out earlier this year.

The video is worth a look and the song is super catchy. Check it out, along with the tour dates, below.
