I The Mighty premiere new music video for “Slow Dancing Forever”

San Fran progressive rock band I the Mighty has just premiered a new music video for their song “Slow Dancing Forever”, which appears on their latest album “Connector”, and you can check out below.

Here’s what the band had to say about the video,

We thought the best way to present a video for “Slow Dancing Forever” was to stay true to the song’s story. A man is visited by his recently passed ex girlfriend in the night and she begs him not to catch the flight for her funeral. He convinces himself it’s a dream, and although he feels her through out the day with her hand on his shoulder and tugging at his coat, he boards the plane anyway. At 20,000 feet, the wing breaks and he has the peaceful realization that he gets to see her again soon. We got to take a backseat for this one and let the director, actors and realistic airplane set do all the work. We’re very proud with how it all turned out.

I The Mighty is currently on tour with Coheed and Cambria, Glassjaw, and Silver Snakes. The guys play tonight in LA and have five more stops on this leg. You can find all the dates and places below.

I the Mighty released their second album, “Connector”, in June, 2015 through Equal Vision Records.

Vocalist Daniel Ward had this to say about the new song:

“Everyone in the band is growing together and we’re very proud of the natural progression that’s happened since The Angst in My Veins came out.  We accomplished everything we initially wanted to when we first made the band…now we’re setting new goals and getting back in touch with influences that made us want to make music in the first place, not just what inspired the band’s creation. Just like the 7″ we put out when we first got signed, this is another very important stage in the band’s transition. Every day we are letting ourselves be more of just that – ourselves, and I think that’s a defining factor of creating longevity in what we’re doing.”

Capsize is currently on a tour of the U.S. with  Senses Fail and Silverstein.
