Death By Stereo to play European shows in August

Even though they wrapped up a tour with Agnostic Front earlier this month, Death By Stereo have announced a series of European dates that are set to kick off in August, just about four months after they release their anticipated new album Black Sheep of the American Dream. Death By Stereo have announced that their upcoming album, “Black Sheep Of The American Dream,” will be released on April 24th, 2012 though Viking Funeral Records.

Full Album Stream: Authority Zero’s new, live album, “Less Rhythm, More Booze”

Arizona reggae-punks, Authority Zero, have just made their newest album, “Less Rhythm, More Booze”, available to stream in its entirety.

This is the band’s second live acoustic album, and includes both a CD and DVD of live footage.

The album hits stores today through Viking Funeral/Suburban Noize Records.

Authority Zero’s latest album “Stories of Survival” was released on June 22nd, 2010 through Suburban Noize.

Authority Zero stream acoustic version of “Get It Right” off upcoming album “Less Rhythm, More Booze”

Next Tuesday Authority Zero will release their second live acoustic album/DVD, “Less Rhythm, More Booze,” on Viking Funeral/Suburban Noize Records and today we’re stoked to bring you an exclusive sneak peek of one of the songs.  It’s a live/acoustic rendition of “Get It Right” and I gotta say, its pretty badass.  Listen to it while you read the following words from frontman Jason Devore regarding the release:

“On our first live album (‘Rhythm and Booze’), we completely re-wrote songs off of our first two albums and this time we rewrote tracks off of our latest two albums ‘12:34’ and ‘Stories of Survival’ in the same distorted manner. To record we just threw a big party in our hometown of Mesa, Arizona, let the good times roll, and captured the audio and video for a CD/DVD release.”

Death By Stereo sign to Viking Funeral Records, announce name for new album

Death By Stereo have confirmed via Facebook that they are now signed to Viking Funeral Records, a label owned by Pennywise guitarist Fletcher Dragge. They have also announced that Black Sheep of the American Dream will be the name of their anticipated new record. No release date has been set, but we shall keep you posted.

Black Sheep of the American Dream will be the follow-up to Death Is My Only Friend, which was released back in 2009 on Serjical Strike Records. The band recently posted a rough demo of a new song entitled “WTF Is Going On Around Here?”, which will likely be on the record.

Reggae-punks Authority Zero have revealed the the cover art and tracklist for their upcoming live album, “Less Rhythm More Booze.”

The album will be released on January 31st through Viking Funeral. It be a two disc CD/DVD set that contains an 18 song live CD and a 70 minute DVD of the group’s performance. Their latest album “Stories of Survival” was released on June 22nd, 2010. They will tour the U.S. with ska mainstays Voodoo Glow Skulls starting on December 31st. Authority Zero announce live album, tour with Voodoo Glow Skulls

Reggae-punks Authority Zero are setting themselves up for a busy 2012 (not to be confused with their busy 2011). Today, they announced a January 31st release day for their forthcoming live album “Less Rhythm, More Booze.” The album will be released via Fletcher Dragge’s Viking Funeral imprint.

Also, AZ announced a long run of tour dates with legendary act the Voodoo Glow Skulls. Their tour begins December 31st in Arizona, and runs through late February when it wraps up in Texas. Click here for the full rundown.

Here’s a statement from AZ frontman Jason DeVore on the double announcements:

We’re excited to be hitting the road with our good friends the Voodoo Glow Skulls for a tour around the US in early 2012. We did a trek together in 2011 and had a blast, so we’re back for round two. We’re also excited to release our second live album and DVD fittingly titled ‘Less Rhythm More Booze’ during this upcoming tour. On our first live album (‘Rhythm and Booze’), we completely re-wrote songs off of our first two albums and this time we rewrote tracks off of our latest two albums ‘12:34’ and ‘Stories of Survival’ in the same distorted manner. Authority Zero plan new album for 2012, announce Japan tour dates

Reggae-punks Authority Zero will begin writing a new album this December. They hope to release it by next summer. Here’s what they had to say,

We’ve been on the road non-stop since the 2010 fall release of ‘Stories of Survival’ and we have no plans of slowing down any time soon. During our travels we’ve taken every available opportunity to write and demo out new material. It’s been molding into what we feel is truly going to be a kick ass record. We’re super pumped and hoping for a new record release by sometime next summer. The jams are pouring out!”
