Paper Arms announce fifth anniversary tour w/ Apart From This

Australian punk rockers Paper Arms have announced they will be touring with fellow Aussies Apart From This next month, in honor of their fifth anniversary!

Paper Arms’ latest full-length “The Smoke Will Clear” was released earlier this year on Poison City Records, who also released Apart From This’ debut full-length “In Gloom” on April 5th.

Clowns (punk/hardcore) streaming song off upcoming debut album “I’m Not Right”

Aussie punk/hardcore group Clowns are streaming one song, “You’ve Got The Curse,” from their debut album, I’m Not Right, on Poison City Records.

Grim Fandango to release new album “Flicker Noise”, stream 2 new songs

Perth progressive punk outfit, Grim Fandango will be releasing a new full-length titled “Flicker Noise” on September 13th via Poison City Records.  To get a taste of what’s to come you can stream two new tracks from the album (“Too Punk To Drive” and “Play Forever”) right here.

The band’s last full-length release was 2010’s “Birthmark Blues.”

Melbourne punks The Smith Street Band are currently streaming their newest release, their 10″ EP titled “Don’t Fuck With Our Dreams.” which you can check out over here.

The Bennies sign to Poison City Records

Melbourne party ska outfit, The Bennies, have announced that they have joined the Poison City Records roster for a November 4th release of their next album, which is currently untitled.

The band last released a 7-inch entitled “Better Off Dread,” which you can stream right here, in April via Jackknife Records.

Music Video: Paper Arms – “Snake Oil”

Australian punk rockers Paper Arms have premiered a music video for their song “Snake Oil”, taken from their latest album The Smoke Will Clear, which was released last February. The band on the video:

The Smith Street Band has announced via facebook that they will be releasing a new 10″ EP on August 9th titled “Don’t Fuck With Our Dreams” via Poison City Records.

Pre-orders will begin on June 18th on Poison City’s website.

The Smith Street Band has released a video for “Young Drunk” off of “Sunshine and Technology.” You can watch the video here.

Gee, anyone would think these guys hate being at home. The Smith Street Band have just announced the “Sunshine and Technology” tour taking in all the capital cities in Australia this August and along for the ride will be Philly outfit Restorations. Check out the full run of dates here.

The Smith Street Band recording a new album

The Smith Street Band have just announced that they have begun tracking the follow-up to their debut album “No One Gets Lost Anymore.”  Possibly one of the hardest working bands in Australia, the band have barely stopped touring since 2011.  The album, slated for a late 2012 release via Poison City Records, will be recorded with Sam Johnson at Three Phase Studios and will be mixed at Sing Sing by Matt Voight.

The band are currently trekking around Australia supporting Frank Turner and will be making their American debut later this year at FEST 11.
