Make That A Take Records have just released part One of the “Book Yer Ane Fest VII” compilation featuring a bunch of pretty solid up and coming punk acts.  You can check it out by streaming it here and if you dig it you can download it for a £2 donation. All donations will go to Safe-Tay and the causes they support; this year being Tayside Mountain/Water Rescue.

Book Yer Ane Fest is a three-day DIY punk/hxc/emo/whatever festival hosted by Make-That-A-Take Records held annually in Dundee. It is a charity festival to raise money for Safe-Tay, a water safety charity, and the causes that it supports. Over the years they have raised in excess of £4000 for Safe-Tay and Tayside Mountain and Water Rescue.



The Murderburgers announce release date for new album “These Are Only Problems”

Scotland’s The Murderburgers have announced that they release their new album “These Are Only Problems” on October 8, 2013 through Asian Man Records / Monster Zero Records.

“These Are Only Problems” will be the band’s first album since early 2012′s “How to Ruin Your Life,” which was released on Monster Zero Records.

The Murderburgers to release new album “These Are Only Problems” on Asian Man Records; stream new song “Another Way Out of Here”

Scotland’s The Murderburgers have announced they will be releasing a new album called “These Are Only Problems” through Asian Man Records in either late summer or early fall.

You can stream “Another Way Out of Here,” a song which will be appearing on the album, right here.

“These Are Only Problems” will be the band’s first album since early 2012’s “How to Ruin Your Life,” which was released on Monster Zero Records.

Up-and-coming Florida punk/ska label Pinhead Records have released the eight installment in their series of free compilations called “International Punk Rock Superstars”.

The tracklisting features songs (some old, some new) from The Murderburgers, Point of View, The Moguls, After The Fact!, CPA, and many other independent bands.

Up-and-coming Florida punk/ska label Pinhead Records have revealed the tracklisting and released a teaser video for volume 8 of their long-running compilation series, entitled “International Punk Rock Superstars.” The comp will be free to download and will feature songs from The Murderburgers, The Moguls, After The Fact!, Point of View, CPA, Still Insane, and a bunch of other awesome bands.

Murderburgers cancel European shows

Bummer for the European fans out there. Scotland’s The Murderburgers announced via Facebook that they’ve had to cancel upcoming shows due to “unforeseen circumstances.” The canceled dates are here.

If we hear about rescheduled shows, we’ll let you know. The Murderburgers released their last album, How to Ruin Your Life, early last year on Monster Zero Records.

No details other than that but we’ll keep you posted.
