We recently got a chance to catch up with everyone’s favorite pop-punk criminals Masked Intruder during the Philadelphia stop of this year’s Fat Wreck Tour. We discussed the band’s input on some of the best items to “borrow”, their upcoming EP, and their favorite Fat releases of all time. Luckily enough I was able to walk away with my cell phone and credit card still in my pocket.

Everyone’s favorite pop-punk criminals Masked Intruder recently appeared on an “all ages” dance oriented public access T.V. show in Chicago called “Chic-A-Go-Go”. While on the show the band ‘performed’ their song “Unrequited Love” in front of a dancing cast.
Grab your dancing shoes and check out the video below!
Not being from the Chicago area, I’m not overly familiar with this show. However, according to Wikipedia “Chic-A-Go-Go” has also had guest appearances by Agent Orange, Anti-Flag, Jello Biafra, Butthole Surfers, Crass, The Cramps, Dead Kennedys, Fugazi, The Germs, The Hives, Hunx & His Punx, The Misfits, NOBUNNY, Marky Ramone, Andrew W.K., and many others. With that said, if you live in Chicago you can watch “Chic-A-Go-Go” on channel 19 every Tuesday at 8:30 p.m. and every Wednesday at 3:30 p.m.

Wisconsin’s pop-punk criminals Masked Intruder recently served as fashion police at Riot Fest Chicago and gave the festival attendees feedback about their appearances throughout the day. Unfortunately many of the people being interviewed seemed to have no clue who Masked Intruder were, which sorta makes it more entertaining.

Solidarity Recordings has revealed the tracklisting for their upcoming Go Go’s tribute compilation “Our Lips Are Sealed,” which is set to be released on July 3oth.
Here is what label owner/founder Randy had to say:
“I wanted to do something special for Solidarity’s 50th release, well here it is! Our Lips Are Sealed – A tribute to THE GO GO’s! This idea popped in my mind on a cold day in January 2012 while watching VH1 Behind the Music – The Go Go’s. I have always been a fan, why hadn’t their been a “pop/punk/whatever you wanna call it” tribute to this band?! Their songs would translate so amazing to the “genre”. I started reaching out that day and there were actually some people who had never even heard of The Go Go’s?! What?! Blasphemy! So many folks were on board instantly and super excited. Some of my favorite bands, and so many nice folks and new friendships formed just from this tribute! After hundreds of emails, phone calls, texts, here it finally is. I hope you dig it as much as I do, this was a real pleasure to put together!”
