Ohio’s Hawthorne Heights have posted their new album Skeletons to their MySpace page for you to check out, along with a video explaining how they decided on the album’s title. The album will be on sale next Tuesday, June 1, through Wind-Up Records. Check out our review of the album – then submit your own review after you check it out. Skeletons is the band’s follow-up to 2008’s Fragile Future, which was released on Victory Records.

The band recently announced their “Get a Ticket, Get An Album” Tour – when you purchase a ticket to the tour, you’ll get a download of the band’s upcoming album Skeletons. You’ll also score two exclusive acoustic tracks for the songs Gravestones and Boulevards. Get all of the details on the tour here.



Hawthorne Heights “Get A Ticket, Get An Album” tour update

We wrote a couple weeks ago that Hawthorne Heights were embarking on this unique tour that when you purchase a ticket, you get a download of the band’s upcoming album Skeletons.

Today, the band announced that The Audition and The Story Changes are the two bands that will be joining them in support.  From the 23rd to the 30th of June, the band will be joining up with Bayside for a short run of East Coast shows. Skeletons is scheduled to drop June 1st via Wind-Up Records and is the follow-up to Victory Records 2008 release Fragile Future.

The tour is pretty self-explanatory. When you purchase a ticket, you get a download of the band’s upcoming album Skeletons, as well as two exclusive acoustic tracks for the songs Gravestones and Boulevards.

Bayside headlining shows with Hawthorne Heights in April and June

baysideHey all you east coast Bayside fans! The band has announced that they’ll be embarking on a couple of headlining shows in April and June, with special guests Hawthorne Heights.

Recently, we wrote that Bayside had left Victory and had signed with Wind-Up Records. They will be releasing their first full-length on their new label sometime this fall.



New song from Hawthorne Heights: “Nervous Breakdown”

Hawthorne Heights released the first single from their upcoming album Skeletons today.  Nervous Breakdown (not a Black Flag cover) is available through iTunes where you can also pre-order the album and get a couple of bonus tracks (you may also pre-order Skeletons through Interpunk (autographed booklet) or through HH’s official store ( with a free lithograph)).

This tour will not include any bullshit like lip syncing, ego boxes, light and sound guys, or expensive back drops. It will include a very personal rock show experience from bands who care about their fans. Come have fun. Leave your negative attitude at the door.
