Atreyu have announced the dates for a full US/Canada tour this fall with Chiodos, Blessthefall, and others. The “Congregation Of The Damned” tour will see the band start off in Anaheim October  20th, visit the entire country and Canada, and end November 27th in Los Angeles. Click here for the full dates.

New Song: “Those Who Slay Together, Stay Together” from upcoming Chiodos album “lluminaudio”

Michigan post-hardcore band Chiodos are streaming a new song on their MySpace profile. It’s titled “Those Who Slay Together, Stay Together” and it will appear on the band’s upcoming album lluminaudio, due out October 5 through Equal Vision Records.

This is the band’s follow-up to 2007’s Bone Palace Ballet and will be their first album with new frontman Brendan Bolmer. Former singer Craig Owens was dismissed from the band last September.



Video: Chiodos release teaser for upoming album “Illuminaudio”

Saginaw, Michigan post-hardcore band Chiodos have released a teaser video for their upcoming album, Illuminaudio, due out October 5 through Equal Vision Records. The video features audio presumably off the new album (probably the intro track).  Check it out here.

Chiodos announce tour with Bullet For My Valentine

chiodosChiodos have just announced their US tour with Bullet For My Valentine and Airbone. Starting April 30th, Chiodos will be hitting cities from Worchester, MA to San Fransisco, CA and everywhere in between. On February 11th it was leaked that Chiodos had replaced Craig Owens with Brendan Bolmer (formerly of Yesterdays Rising) as their frontman.



The Used announces dates to mini tour with Chiodos

theused2The Used has just announced the dates to a mini tour with Chiodos. This will be Chiodos’s first set of shows with new lead singer Brandon Bolmer.

Chiodos announces new band lineup

chiodosSince Chiodoskicked Craig Owens out of the band” a few months ago there has been a lot of speculation as to who was going to replace him well wait no longer. Brandon Bolmer will in fact be the band’s new vocalist, and Tanner Wayne is the new drummer.

This announcement wasn’t supposed to be made until late March but I guess they couldn’t help themselves. Lets all welcome Bolmer and Wayne to the band.



Identification of Chiodos new singer leaked

chiodosNo official statements from Chiodos or Equal Vision have been released, but it has been rumored that the band’s new singer will be Brandon Bolmer of Yesterdays Rising.  The band previously stated that they wouldn’t be unveiling the identity of their new singer until the Bamboozle Fest at the end of March.

Chiodos kicked Craig Owens out of their band back in September of 2009.

Choidos recording new album with mystery new singer

equal-vision-recordsShortly after Chiodos kicked their lead signer Craig Owens out of the band they surprised fans by announcing that singer or no singer, they were going to continue writing a new album anyway.  For months the band remained without a vocalist but it seems they’ve managed to finally find a suitable replacement and are reportedly heading into the studio this month to record a new full-length album for Equal Vision Records.

The band is keeping the identity of their new singer a secret until The Bamboozle festival in Anaheim, CA on March 27th.



Chiodos in the studio writing new music without Craig Owens, still looking for a new singer

equal-vision-records6If you don’t know by now, you’re not on the internet enough, but lead singer Craig Owens recently left (read: was kicked out) of Chiodos much to the consternation of fans.  This hasn’t stopped the band from continuing on with the writing of their new album, however.  Chiodos reports that they are currently in the studio writing songs for their next full-length album, though they admit they are still searching for a replacement singer.  If you think you’ve got the chops to become the next Choidos lead singer head here to apply.



Craig Owens addresses getting kicked out of Chiodos

craigowensA couple days ago Chiodos released an official statement declaring that front-man Craig Owens was “let go” as the band’s vocalist.  The news came as a shock to fans, and apparently to Craig Owens himself.  Yesterday he spoke publicly to a group of fans about how he found out, how he feels about it, and what he thinks he’ll do in the future.

Chiodos’ lead singer Craig Owens gets the boot!

craigowensOk friends, you better sit down for this one. The lead singer of Chiodos, Craig Owens, has been kicked out of the band after 8 years of holding the mic. The guys will not give us a reason as to why they’ve decided to let him go, but they claim it was “necessary”. Prior to this decision, Chiodos was in the process of writing a new album and the band has stated they will absolutely be continuing on as a band.  Can the band make it without their charismatic front-man?  I guess we’ll find out.

Chiodos is writing a new record

equal-vision-records6So Chiodos just made an announcement that they have been staying super busy writing a new album. Unfortunately, they didn’t really say much more than that…no title..no release date…So if you happen to know any of these details, feel free to inform me. As soon as more news comes in we will be sure to let you know!

Their last album, “Bone Palace Ballet: Grand Coda” was released in 2008 on Equal Vision Records.

I’ve been in love with Craig Owens for years so this video is a little hard for me to watch without getting super jealous, but I’ll post it anyway for the rest of you… check it.
