Recently the newest member of Dead To Me, Nathan Grice sat down with Scanner Zine to talk about the history around how Dead To Me came to be, how he found himself in the band, the new album, and what the future holds for the NorCal punks. comadre-mixtape-vol-3To be honest, I have been completely oblivious to these Comadre Mixtapes until about 20 minutes ago, but better late than never, right?  Apparently, San Francisco’s punk act Comadre has put out 3 volumes of “mixtapes” already; the third, “Still Not Proud”, having been released today.  All are free and available for download here.  Comadre comments on the contributors:

We each picked out 3 or 4 songs each to throw on this tape… bands we’ve spent good times with, bands we knew that had new records coming out soon, bands we’ve recorded, bands we’ve done artwork for, bands we’ve put out records for, and bands that we just simply dig, hard.
