Crow Bait release new songs

Long Island band, Crow Bait, have released some new songs off the upcoming Huff Stuff Magazine Split 7″ & Husker Du Tribute 7″, both on Dead Broke Rekerds and Drunken Sailor Records (UK). You can check out the songs here.

The band released their debut 7 ” entitled “Three Tickle Guys” last December.



Iron Chic working on new album, post tour dates

Long Island punk outfit Iron Chic have announced that they are working on a new album. Here’s what they had to say:

We’ve got some cool shows coming up with with fucking Hot Water Music, Plow United, and Grey Area among others. In-between all that stuff we’re writing a new record in Phil Douglas’ futuristic studio while he wears robot headphones like Dr. Dre.

In addition, the band has posted a handful of dates for this June, around the northeastern US and heading into Canada for the Ottawa Explosion Fest. The band released their latest full-length album “Not Like This” in 2010.



Unfun stream upcoming EP “Caroline”

Vancouver’s “melodic, rough-around-the-edges, drug-induced pop-punk” act Unfun are streaming their entire upcoming EP “Caroline” right here.

The EP is slated for official release on May 1st through Dead Broke Rekerds and contains the epic jam, “Caroline” (clocking in at 8:00 minutes long), and the 3 songs from the U.K. released, “Shallow Graves” EP on one 7″.

Members Iron Chic and Jonesin’ form new band Crow Bait, offering free download of demo EP

Crow Bait, a new band comprised of members from Jonesin’, Iron Chic, Wax Phantom, Sister Kisser and Halfway To Hell Club are offering a free download of their demo EP titled “Three Tickle Guys.”  Snag it here.

A cassette of the recording is available through Dead Broke Rekerds and the EP is now gonna be released on a 7″ on Blue and White vinyl from 6 labels through-out the world: A.D.D./Solidarity/Lost Cat/Dirt Cult/Drunken Sailor (UK)/Eager Beaver (Japan).

Next up, the band is working on 2 new songs for an upcoming Split 7″ EP with Vancouver’s, UNFUN.

Two New Songs from Wax Phantom

Wax Phantom have posted two new songs up on their MySpace Page. You can check out “Don’t Bother To Bury Me” and “F-My Bod” right here.

Wax Phantom is a new project from members of Four Arms Dealer, Iron Chic and Jonesin. They released their EP “Don’t Fool With A Phantom” in the summer for free download, which you can still totally nab right here.



Explosivo! stream upcoming album “If The Devil Had A Guitar”

Long Island punk act Explosivo! are streaming their upcoming album “If The Devil Had a Guitar” in it’s entirety right here.

Explosivo! recorded this album almost 10 years ago and it got buried. They ended up disbanding and the members went on to start and play in The Devil Himself, Iron Chic, and Small Arms Dealer.  Go check out the album before it’s physical release, which seems to be soon but we’re not exactly sure when.

Dead Broke Rekerds/ Limited Pressing are teaming up to release the album.
