Chunk! No, Captain Chunk! announce tour with Hit The Lights, Forever Came Calling, and To the Wind

Parisian pop-punks Chunk! No, Captain Chunk! will be hitting the road this May. The band will be joined by Ohio’s Hit the Lights, Southern California’s Forever Came Calling, and Seattle hardcore act To the Wind. Check out the show poster and dates below.

The headliners, Chunk! No, Captain Chunk!, put out Pardon My French on June 17, 2014 via Fearless Records, and Hit the Lights’ most recent album Summer Bones came out on March 24, 2014 on Pure Noise Records.



As It Is stream new song “Concrete”

Brighton, UK pop-punk act As It Is are streaming a new song off their upcoming debut full-length, Never Happy, Ever After.

Never Happy, Ever After is due out on April 20th via Fearless Records.  The band last released their EP, This Mind Of Mine, back in March of 2014.



Real Friends announce acoustic EP “More Acoustic Songs”

Chicago pop-punk act Real Friends have just announced that they will be releasing an acoustic EP. Titled simply More Acoustic Songs, the 4-track release will be available digitally on April 28th via Fearless Records.

For those that participate in Record Store Day, on April 18th, 2,000 copies of this album will be floating around.

This announcement follows the band’s recent release of their documentary titled Moving Forward, the 30-minute piece released on February 20th. Real Friends’ latest album Maybe This Place Is The Same And We’re Just Changing was released this past July via Fearless.



Bled Fest 2015 announces full lineup

The mix-genre music festival in Howell, Michigan, Bled Fest has announced the full lineup for this year’s event. Bands playing this year’s Bled Fest include Real Friends, Touché Amoré, Modern Baseball, Modern Life Is WarThe Early November and way way more. Check out the full lineup below.

Bled Fest will take place Saturday May 23rd 2015 at the Hartland Performing Arts Center in Howell, MI. You can purchase your tickets here.

Earlier this month, Chicago pop-punk act Real Friends announced they would be releasing a documentary titled Moving Forward. Today, they’ve made the 30-minute-long documentary available for streaming, and you can check it out below.

Real Friends to release documentary titled “Moving Forward”

Chicago pop-punk act Real Friends have announced they will be releasing a documentary titled Moving Forward on February 19th. As you can see in the above image, the doc’s about “growth, change, and moving forward,” and it will be available to stream on the band’s website.

As It Is release music video for new single – “Dial Tones”

Brighton, UK pop-punk act As It Is have a new music video out for the track “Dial Tones” and you can watch it below.

The song is the first single off the band’s debut full-length, Never Happy, Ever After, which is due out this year on Fearless Records.

As It Is last released their EP, This Mind Of Mine, back in March of 2014. Never Happy, Ever After will mark their first release on Fearless.

Real Friends announce UK headlining shows

Chicago pop-punks Real Friends have announced they will be playing a trio of headlining shows in the UK in March. Check out the dates in the tour poster below. Tickets go on sale later today (Tuesday).

The band will be in Europe for a tour supporting All Time Low.  Also see below for those dates, including a show at the famed Wembley Arena.

Warped Tour 2015 announce second batch of bands (blessthefall, Lee Corey Oswald and more)

The second batch of bands for next year’s installment of the Vans Warped Tour has been announced. Today’s announcement features the likes of blessthefall, Lee Corey Oswald, Alive Like Me, Family Force 5, Hundredth, and Trophy Eyes. This brings us to a total of eleven bands announced so far. To the best of our knowledge, all eleven will be playing the entire Warped Tour.

Mayday Parade to enter the studio in March

Emo pop act Mayday Parade have announced that they will enter the studio in March to begin recording their new album, which will serve as the follow-up to last year’s Monsters in the Closet. Drummer Jake Bundrick writes:

“So thankful to have met these dudes when I did, that I get to see the world with them and that we get to record another record together in March.”

Monsters in the Closet was released in October 2013 on Fearless Records. The band recently released a cover of the Bush classic “Comedown”, which appears on the Fearless compilation album Punk Goes 90’s.

Bayside‘s Anthony Ranieri and Chris Guglielmo host a new episode of Ernie Ball’s “All Things Warped.”  They chat with Eric Poncet from the Parisian pop-punk band Chunk! No, Captain Chunk, and, oddly enough, give him a haircut.  You can watch the video below.

Motionless in White debuts video for “Dead as F*ck”

Motionless in White  has a new video out just in time to give you the creeps for Halloween!  You can check out “Dead as F*ck” below.  The video features creepily-animated dolls and imagery that is harmless but vaguely disquieting.

August Burns Red announce winter headlining tour

August Burns Red have announced dates for their upcoming headlining tour, dubbed the Frozen Flame Tour. Miss May I, Northlane, Erra, and an unannounced special guest will open for the band. Check out the dates below.

The band recently signed to Fearless Records and are currently preparing a new album for release sometime in 2015, likely to coincide with this tour. Their latest full-length, Rescue & Restore, was released last summer through Solid State Records.
