ASTPAI release music video for new song “Careers”

Austrian punks ASTPAI have released a music video for a new song entitled “Careers,” which will be appearing on their upcoming album Burden Calls. You can check it out below.

Burden Calls is set to be released on August 22nd through Ass Card Records (UK/EU), and a month later (Sept. 22nd) in the US/Canada via Jumpstart Records.



MxPx stream “Demos Collection, Vol. 1”

Because streaming their new Acoustic Collection album just wasn’t enough for one day, the guys in MxPx have made their new demo compilation simply entitled Demos Collection, Vol. 1 available for streaming.

You can listen to the entire thing below – it’s pretty awesome and features rough demo versions of 18 songs, including You’re Not Alone, Biting The Bullet, Sweet Sweet Thing, and a bunch of others.

MxPx’s latest full-length Plans Within Plans was released in 2012 on MRI/Rock City Recordings and Jump Start Records. Acoustic Collection and Demos Collection, Vol. 1 are both available to purchase through their Bandcamp page.



New Music: ASTPAI – “Dead End Talking” off upcoming album “Burden Calls”

Austrian punk band ASTPAI is getting ready to release their new album “Burden Calls” on August 22nd (UK/EU) through Ass Card Records and on September 22nd (North America) through Jumpstart Records.

For now, fans will have to settle on a new track from the upcoming record, entitled “Dead End Talking”, which you can listen to below.



MxPx’s upcoming release definitely isn’t an acoustic album

Though some (including myself) have speculated the new release the guys in MxPx have been teasing for a few days now is going to be an acoustic album, some recent activity on frontman Mike Herrera’s Instagram profile points to it being a full-band release of some sort – whether that’s an EP or a full-length is still unknown.

We’ll keep you posted as more details on whatever Mike, Tom, and Yuri are working on come to light. MxPx’s latest full-length Plans Within Plans was released in 2012 on MRI/Rock City Recordings and Jump Start Records.

Rumor has it the band’s working on an acoustic album but we’ll keep you posted more solid details come to light. MxPx’s last full-length Plans Within Plans was released in 2012 on MRI/Rock City Recordings and Jump Start Records.

The Young Leaves sign to Jump Start Records for release of new album “Burial Dreams”

Massachusetts punks The Young Leaves have signed to Jump Start Records with plans to release their fourth full-length album entitled Burial Dreams later this year. Here’s what the band had to say about partnering with the label, with whom they will release a new 7-inch:

“Our primary reason for working with Keith is because he cut his teeth recording and playing in doom and sludge bands. He understands how to capture our pop sensibility while retaining our heavier aesthetic.”

MxPx are heading overseas this spring for a run of shows in Europe. See the full list of dates below.

Most of the shows will be with The Ataris frontman Kris Roe, and two shows will also include Australia punks Bodyjar.
