Madball talk beer at With Full Force Fest 2012

Freddy and Mitts from Madball took some time of their day at the With Full Force Festival in Germany this summer to discuss beer. From how to properly pour beer, to the taste, to how awful some American beers are, the two NYHC legends show that hardcore guys know how to get it done (and by “it” they mean “drinking beer”).

I Am Abomination announce new album, post “Off the Radar” documentary

Taylor, MI’s I Am Abomination have announced that they will be releasing their upcoming album “Let the Future Tell the Truth” on November 27th, 2012.

The band has also posted a 17 minute documentary, titled “Off the Radar”, telling the history of the band. It also features clips of brand new music by the band. You can watch “Off the Radar” here.

Canadian metalcore act, Obey The Brave, is getting ready to release their debut album, “Young Blood”, through Epitaph Records (US) and Distort Records (Canada) next week.

The band has just made their newest material available to stream, in its entirety, here.

Obey The Brave will be hitting the road to promote the new album, and has stops planned at the All Stars Tour this summer and the Never Say Die Tour this fall in Europe.

Riverside, CA, progressive/hardcore act No Bragging Rights have announced they will release a new full-length album through Good Fight Music/eOne by the end of the year.

The guys and I are beyond stoked to be a part of the GoodFight/eOne family. We feel this will be a good fit for us as we grow and continue moving forward,” says frontman Mike Perez.



The Chariot releasing new album, “One Wing”

Hardcore outfit The Chariot have announced that their new album will be titled “One Wing.”  The album will be released on August 28th through eOne Music/Good Fight Music.  Until then, you can catch the band on the Scream It Like You Mean It tour this summer, starting July 5th.

The Chariot’s most recent release was “Long Live,” from November of 2010.



Madball premiere new song “My Blood”

Madball has premiered a brand new song today entitled “My Blood.” You can listen to the track here. The song will appear on the band’s upcoming EP Rebellion dropping on Freddy Cricien’s own The Black N Blue Label digitally tomorrow. A vinyl pressing will also arrive later this month.

Standing with the best of Madball’s classic catalogue, the Rebellion EP was produced by Eric Rutan (Agnostic Front, Morbid Angel, Hate Eternal) and features four new songs and two re-done classic Madball tracks from the band’s earliest days.

Madball will be touring Europe later this month appearing on numerous festivals. They have also confirmed that they will be appearing at part of The CBGB Festival in New York on July 5th with Agnostic Front at Webster Hall.



Madball announce release date and tracklist for upcoming “Rebellion” EP, stream new song “The Beast”

New York hardcore veterans Madball have announced that they will release their upcoming “Rebellion” EP digitally on June 14 and vinyl later in the month via The BNB Label.

Madball are working on a new full-length studio album which will be the follow-up to their last studio album Empire which was released in 2010.



Music Video: Obey The Brave – “Get Real”

Canadian metal/hardcore act Obey The Brave has just released a new music video for their song, “Get Real”.

The track will appear on the band’s upcoming EP “Ups and Downs”, which is set to be released May 22 through Good Fight Music.

Madball finish recording new EP, plan next album

According to Stereokiller.com, Madball have finished recording their four-song EP, which they hope to to release in June. It was again produced by Erik Rutan, who handled the production on their last full-length studio album Empire, which was released in 2010.

The new EP, which still has no name, will be Madball’s fourth one in a row, the first being 1989′s Ball of Destruction, the second 1992′s Droppin’ Many Suckers, and the third 2004′s N.Y.H.C.

In other news, Madball are also working on a new full-length studio album. They state, “Another new Madball album is on the way! We premiered a track from the last album and hopefully we will be able to get a new one from this as well! Stay tuned for updates! You can’t keep the godfathers of NYHC down!”
