Twin Forks (feat. Chris Carrabba, ex-Dashboard Confessional) announce debut LP

Former Dashboard Confessional (and Further Seems Forever) frontman Chris Carrabba has got a brand new bag.

Twin Forks is a folk/Americana four-piece fronted by Carrabba, though he shares vocal duties with fiddle player Suzie Zeldin. The band released their self-titled debut EP late last year. They’ve now got their debut full-length (also self-titled) ready to go. It’s due out February 25th on Dine Alone Records. Click here for vinyl pre-order details.

Dine Alone Records releases free holiday sampler

Dine Alone Records has released their annual holiday sampler. The 2013 edition feature 22 tracks from artists including FIDLAR, City and Colour, Jimmy Eat World, and even a remastered track by Alexisonfire which will appear on the band’s upcoming box set.

As an added bonus, this year Dine Alone is giving away 20 massive prize packs with music from the label and lots of goodies from Yamaha, Jansport, West 49, Denon, Olloclip, RTRBLZY, HEX and Dine Alone Foods. Anyone who downloads the 2013 sampler and enters their information will instantly be entered into the contest.

New Music: FIDLAR – “Awkward” from upcoming tour split with The Orwells

LA punks FIDLAR have debuted a brand new track today. It’s called “Awkward,” and it’s set to appear on the band’s upcoming tour-only split 7-inch with The Orwells. Click here to check it out and, while you’re at it, click here to find out where you can catch the two bands on tour together.

FIDLAR’s self-titled album was released in January of this year and features the song “Cocaine,” for which the band recently made an incredibly disturbing, Nick Offerman-centered video. Watch it here.

LA punks FIDLAR have released a hilarious/disturbing video for their song “Cocaine” featuring Nick Offerman of “Parks & Rec” Ron Swanson fame.  The video portrays quite a lot of Offerman’s genitalia, hence the “NSFW” so prepare accordingly.
