Cayetana streaming entire debut album – “Nervous Like Me”

Philadelphia indie-punk group Cayetana are now streaming their debut album in its entirety. Listen to Nervous Like Me, below.

The album follows up the band’s EP, Hot Dad Calendar, which was released back in February on Tiny Engines.

Nervous Like Me is due out next week (September 9th), also on Tiny Engines. You can still preorder the album on vinyl here.

Cayetana have a few shows scheduled over the next month or two, including at Fest 13. Check out the dates/locations below the music.

All-female punk band Maid of Ace have premiered a music video for their song “Bone Deth”. You can check it out below.

“Bone Deth” is taken from Maid of Ace’s self-titled debut album, which came out earlier this year. The album is available for purchase on the band’s official website for $10.

The Coathangers announce US/Canada tour dates

ATL punky-indie-garage-rockers The Coathangers have announced a bunch of tour dates that’ll find the trio bouncing around the US and Canada (okay…well, two shows in Canada) later this Fall. Check out the full tour rundown below.

The Coathangers are touring in support of their latest release, “Suck My Shirt,” which came out earlier this year on Suicide Squeeze Records.

Stickshift Recordings (Vermont feminist punk) announces details of their first fest/birthday show

On August 2, Stickshift Recordings is hosting a big show to celebrate their first year as a label. It’s going to be in Winooski, VT (near Burlington) and they are bringing a bunch of bands to town to create a posi, feminist, queer and trans inclusive show.

Lilith (Arizona feminist punk) announce tour dates

Self-proclaimed Phoenix, Arizona-based “feminist punk” act Lilith have been are set to hit the road in the next coming days.

The band recently signed to 6131 Records, and are streaming their “Bloom” demo EP.

Self-proclaimed Phoenix, Arizona-based “feminist doom punk” act Lilith have been revealed as the latest signing to the 6131 Records roster. The five-piece apparently won the label over with their “awe-inspiring demo” entitled “Doom,” which offers “music that is so refreshingly honest and scathing it’s hard not to pay attention.”

Blast From The Past: Tsunami Bomb live DVD – “The Show Must Go Off!”

Remember Tsunami Bomb?  They were one of the best female fronted punk acts in the late 90’s/early 2000’s.  In 2004 they released their last album “The Definitive Act” on Kung Fu Records and a year later put out a DVD entitled “The Show Must Go Off!” also put out on Kung Fu.  It looks like the band saw fit to upload said DVD to youtube so today we’re streaming the entire thing below.

City Mouse (pop punk) announce U.S. summer tour

California pop-punk group City Mouse are hitting the road this summer for a tour that covers pretty much the entire United States. Check out the list of dates/locations below.

The band also recently announced more new music is on the way, saying on their Facebook page, “Splits, full length, newness… All in the works.”

City Mouse’s last release was a split with Weekend Dads, which came out October 31, 2013, on It’s Alive Records.
