Burning Streets announce U.S. and European tour dates

Boston’s Burning Streets are hitting the road this fall, covering ground in both the Midwest and Europe.  Check out the dates below, including some with 80s hardcore legends Reagan Youth.

Burning Streets is also working on a new album, which is due out in early 2015.  The album will be followed up with further U.S. and European dates, so we will keep you posted on that.



Dead Kennedys announce June tour dates with Reagan Youth, Burning Streets and Downtown Brown

Dead Kennedys are hitting the road this June with NYC 80’s punk trailblazers – Reagan Youth, Burning Streets (Sailors Grave Records) and Downtown Brown (DC Jam Records) on select dates. Dead Kennedys are also confirmed for this years Amnesia Rockfest in Montebello, QC.

Dead Kennedys recently released a new 7-inch box set. Dubbed the Original Singles Collection. It contains seven long-out-of-print 7-inches originally released between 1979 and 1982, preserved in “original sleeves, in heavy jackets” and housed in a box. The songs have been remastered from the original tapes for this release.



Burning Streets are recording a new album

Boston punks Burning Streets have started recording their new album, which will be their third full length. The album is slated to come out in late summer/early fall and will be produced by Marc Cannata (Far From Finished).

The band will be posting updates here throughout the recording process. Burning Streets released their last album, Sit Still, in 2011 on Sailor’s Grave Records.



Burning Streets (punk) stream new song “Quiet House”

Boston punks Burning Streets are streaming their first new song in over two years.  Its called “Quiet House” and its the first of three tracks the band will be leaking over the next few weeks. Give it a listen below.

The three songs were recorded as a demo produced by Pete Steinkopf (Bouncing Souls) and will serve as a sneak peek into their upcoming third full length release due out Spring/Summer 2014.

The boys in Burning Streets will be hitting the road again later this month in support of their second album on Sailor’s Grave Records, “Sit Still.” They will be joined by New Jersey’s The Scandals.

Free International Compilation: “Fucking The Nation Every Day” (recommended)

German DIY internet radio punkrockers-radio.de is giving away a free international punk compilation. It’s called “Fucking The Nation Every Day” and includes 19 Songs from 19 punk, pop-punk and ska bands from all over the world.  It’s a great way to introduce yourself to some new bands and support the international punk community.  I’m only part way through listening to it myself, but have already come across a handful of punk rock gems.

Burning Streets to record new album

In a recent update Boston punk act Burning Streets have announced that they will be hitting the studio soon to record a new album.

“We will be hitting the studio in a few weeks to begin working on our follow up record! We’re all really excited to get the new music out there for everyone to hear so keep an eye out for updates over the next few months to see where we stand on that!”

The band’s previous release was 2009’s debut “Is It In Black And White” on Sailors Grave Records.



Interview: Burning Streets discuss latest album and Boston vs. New York punk scenes

On October 13th, 2009 Burning Streets released their first LP, Is it in Black and White? on Sailor’s Grave Records.  Backed by the release and a few Canada and US tours, the band’s popularity grew amongst the street punk scene and a few weeks ago Lyz Manikas cornered the fellas in their van outside the “Home for the Troops” show for a few questions.

Burning Streets announces tour dates in support of their debut release “Is It In Black And White”

Boston punk act Burning Streets have announced that they’re hitting the road for 2 months this summer in support of their debut release Is It In Black And White.

The “Kiss the World Goodbye Tour” will begin on June 8th in North Carolina and end on August 2nd in Illinois. The tour will be sponsored by BlankTV and will be posting exclusives of the band as they make their way through the country.
